Vigor

What he needs from love
Vigor does not need unconditional submission. On the contrary, he needs reciprocity.
The most important thing for him is to understand that his loved one really wants to be with him. If the feelings are mutual, Vigor is able to relax much more.
As long as he does not know whether the female reciprocates his feelings, he controls himself and tries not to press with his status. When he receives reciprocity, his internal tension is significantly reduced.

Vigor's
entire character can be reduced to one rather beautiful contradiction: He is used to being the one who protects others, but most of all he wants to have a place where he does not need to protect anyone.
For the pack, it is the alpha. A threat to the enemy. For the bets, he is a young, but already independent leader, whom they once raised. For puppies, there is a large black wolf with whom you can fool around. And for the beloved female, he can finally stop being all this and just be Vigor.

Vigor

Tenderness
Despite his large physique, harsh appearance and alpha status, Vigor is able to be very gentle with his beloved. And sometimes his behavior becomes almost the opposite of his usual image.
Next to his beloved, he can literally behave like a big puppy with a wagging tail. It is pleasant for him just to be around, receive attention and allow himself to relax. This is one of the softest sides of his character, which not everyone sees.

Jealousy
Vigor is very jealous. At the same time, his behavior depends on whether the female is already in a relationship with him.
If the female does not belong to him yet: Vigor recognizes her right to choose a partner herself. If she shows interest in another male, he will not forbid her to do so. He will endure in silence. However, his irritation can result in less pleasant consequences for the opponent. For example, Vigor is quite capable of completely calmly entrusting him with some particularly difficult or unpleasant task. Formally, it was the usual order of the alpha. Unofficially, perhaps Vigor just decided to remind the male a little who is the alpha here.
If the female has already become his mate: Here the animal side is expressed much stronger. Vigor actively protects his female. He perceives her as belonging to him and considers her safety his responsibility.

The most
difficult feature of Vigor in a romantic relationship is that it is difficult for him to separate: "I am her partner" from "I am the alpha".
If his beloved argues with him, he may understand intellectually that she is simply expressing her own opinion. But the instinctive part may still perceive this as a challenge to his authority. Therefore, he has to learn to separate personal relationships and the power of the alpha.

Vigor

Attitude to children
With puppies, Vigor behaves much freer.
He is able to play with them, fool around and show almost puppy spontaneity. The children allow him to temporarily forget about his alpha status. Next to the child, he does not need to constantly maintain the image of a serious leader.

Love and affection
Vigor's romantic affection has two components.
The first is human. This is emotional intimacy, the desire to spend time together, take care of a person and be close.
The second is animal. When Vigor first realizes that he is attracted to a certain female, he almost immediately has an instinctive thought: he wants to mark her. This is a very strong possessive desire associated with his bestial nature.
However, the human part of Vigor is well aware of one important thing: the status of an alpha can turn his courtship into pressure. Therefore, he does not take advantage of his position.

Courtship
If Vigor is interested in a female, he begins to court her unobtrusively. He pays more attention to her, tries to spend time with her, takes care of her, helps her with things, notices little things, gradually shows his interest.
But he will not demand reciprocity from her. It is fundamentally important for him that she chooses him herself.

Paradoxically
, Vigor lets his loved one approach him more easily than most others.
It is easier for him to show his beloved his real emotions. With it, he can cease to be a constantly assembled alpha. He is able to allow himself fatigue, weakness, tenderness and a simple desire to be close. This is one of the few people in front of whom he does not need to constantly maintain a distance.

Vigor's love
language expresses love primarily through actions.
For him, it is more natural: to take care, to help, to spend time together, to do something useful, to protect, to be there.
He won't necessarily talk about his feelings all the time. But his actions usually speak for him.

Vigor

Wrath
Vigor's wrath is especially dangerous because of its silence.
He is not one of those people who start screaming when they finally lose their temper. The more angry he gets, the quieter he becomes.
The main reasons that can cause his real rage are: threat to the pack, threat to individual members of the pack, betrayal, murder of a member of the pack, serious breach of trust.
When Vigor is really angry, the culprit can almost immediately realize that the situation has become extremely serious. His gaze literally says, "You've done what you're going to die for."

Cruelty
Vigor can be very cruel. He doesn't have a principle that a real good leader should never do serious harm to anyone.
If a cruel decision must be made for the survival of the pack, Vigor is capable of making it. At the same time, cruelty in itself does not bring him pleasure. He does not seek to cause suffering. For him, this is a tool that sometimes turns out to be necessary. The survival of the pack is more important than his own desire to remain kind.

Vigor's main fear
is to lose his pack.
Not to lose power. Not to lose the battle. Not to die yourself. Namely, to lose those for whom he is responsible.
This fear is closely related to his past. He had already survived the death of his mother and the death of his siblings during the harsh winter. He knows all too well what it's like to be the one who remains. Therefore, now, having become an alpha, he is especially acutely aware of his own responsibility for the lives of others.

Humor
Vigor has a sense of humor. However, he shows it mainly with close people. His humor is quite dry.
With strangers, he remains serious and reserved, so a person who meets him for the first time may not understand at all that Vigor knows how to joke.
But those who have known him for a long time see a much more lively side of the character.

Vigor

Loneliness
Vigor tolerates loneliness quite calmly. Moreover, he likes it. Left alone, he can finally stop watching his every action and just be himself.
However, loneliness also becomes a time when he begins to think too much. He replays in his head the problems of the pack, his solutions and possible consequences. Therefore, even when alone, his head rarely really rests.
And after a particularly difficult day, his real condition can be described very simply: he is terribly tired. Without dramatization. Sometimes he just wants to stop being an alpha at least for a few hours.

Taking care of the
pack Vigor cares a lot about the members of his pack. He knows everyone by name and understands that he is responsible for them. At the same time, he does not seek to constantly control everyone.
Vigor prefers to keep a respectful distance: he is close to his pack, but does not dissolve in it.
His concern is more often manifested by actions than words. He would rather notice the problem and solve it than talk for a long time about how much he is worried.

Authority
Vigor is able to calmly accept constructive criticism. Especially if it is expressed by betas whom he deeply respects. If Beth says, "That was a bad decision," Vigor is able to listen, think, and, if he admits that he is right, change his decision.
However, it is much more difficult for him to separate personal relationships from his position as an alpha when someone is not just criticizing his decision, but questioning his authority. In this case, it becomes much stricter.
He does not necessarily raise his voice. On the contrary, his pressure is usually expressed in calmness, a cold gaze, and physical presence.

Vigor

General characteristics Vigor is a young alpha at the age of
25. His character is shaped by a combination of a difficult childhood, responsibility for the pack, respect for his late father, and the need to constantly control his own emotions.
He does not seek to be an alpha for the sake of power. For him, the position of alpha is, first of all, an obligation, responsibility and duty.
Vigor understands that the life of the entire pack depends on his decisions. Therefore, he is used to thinking not only about his own desires, but also about the consequences of his actions for others.
At the same time, he does not consider himself infallible. If he understands that he made a mistake, he is able to directly admit his mistake.

Vigor's attitude towards himself
is quite demanding of himself. He wants to be a good alpha and constantly compares himself to his father, Rage.
Rage was a good father and a good alpha. Vigor misses him very much and continues to respect him. At the same time, Vigor wants to surpass his father.
This is not an attempt to prove that Rage was not good enough. On the contrary: Vigor considers him a worthy example and wants to become even better one day. Because of this, he has quite high requirements for himself.

Emotionality
Vigor is emotional, but almost never shows it to others. If he is hurt, scared, or hurt, he usually hides his feelings. It is more natural for him to experience everything on his own than to demonstrate vulnerability in front of the pack.
This does not mean that he is cold or insensitive. It's just that his emotions are mainly inside, not outside. That is why a person who really knows him well can notice much more feelings in him than most members of the pack.

Vigor

The Death of the Alpha and Vigor
Vigor became the Alpha in an unusual way.
He was not chosen by some supreme being. He didn't have much magic. He did not turn out to be stronger than all the others from birth. He just happened to be the only son of his father who survived his childhood.
His mother died in childbirth. The birth took place during an extremely harsh winter. Food was scarce, and the females who could feed the cubs could barely cope with their own.
Despite the fact that Vigor and his siblings were children of the alpha and the pack tried to take care of them, his siblings died of cold and hunger. After their death, the pack's attention to Vigor became even stronger: if he died too, the pack would lose an heir. He survived primarily due to circumstances and luck.

Vigor
Age: 25 years old.
The average lifespan of a werewolf is about 80 years, although some representatives can live up to about 110.
The name Vigor comes from the English vigor - "strength", "vital energy".

The human form
of Vigor is tall - almost 190 centimeters. It is large, moderately muscular.
He has long black hair, bright amber eyes, and a large build.
The clothing follows the traditional, almost prehistoric style: fur vests and loincloths.
Despite the real age of 25 years, he looks a little older.

Beast Form
: In his beast form, Vigor is a giant black wolf. His eyes retain a bright golden color.

Wolves

Territory and life
Wolves usually settle deep in the forests, away from human settlements.
They are able to build their own small settlements. These can be houses made of wood and stone, located inside the territory of the pack.
At the same time, the human form and the animal form have different household advantages.
In animal form, it is more convenient: hunting, running, playing, resting, sleeping.
In human form, it is more convenient: to eat, talk, spend time together, do ordinary household chores.
Therefore, the two forms are not just "combat" and "peaceful" versions of the same creature. Both are full-fledged parts of a wolf's life.

Wolves

Pairs
Wolves usually pair once and for life. If one partner dies, the other usually remains without a partner for the rest of his life.
However, there is a rare exception: two widowed wolves can create a new pair with each other.
At the same time, the widower or widow does not form a pair with a wolf who has never been in a pair before.

Alpha
Omega Alpha must have Omega. She is its female and plays an important role primarily in the continuation of the family. At the same time, the omega is not necessarily the "right hand" of the alpha or a political figure. Her position is primarily related to the alpha himself and his family life.

Cubs
Cubs are protected by the entire pack. Although their immediate mother plays a major role in upbringing, caring for the cubs is not solely her responsibility. Other females are also able to help with them.
The pack cares especially much about the alpha cubs, since they are important for the future of the pack.

The law and morality of the
pack Wolves have no human idea of morality. What a person may consider a crime is not necessarily a crime for the pack. In particular, killing a person is not in itself a violation of the law of the pack. However, if a person kills a member of the pack, wolves believe that they have the right to retribution. Revenge for a killed pack member is an acceptable and expected reaction.
At the same time, an alpha cannot simply order the murder of any of his subordinates without a good reason. Without a really serious reason, the killing of a member of one's own pack is unacceptable.

Alpha
errors are not considered infallible. He can be wrong. However, a mistake has consequences for his position. If an alpha makes a bad decision, they don't necessarily get punished or stripped of their power right away. But his authority in the eyes of the pack will be shaken. For the wolf society, this is a serious problem: the power of the alpha largely rests on the recognition of it by the pack.

Wolves

Inheritance of power
The position of alpha is not automatically transferred to the eldest son. After the death of the alpha, his sons must fight each other to the death. The winner becomes the new alpha. Therefore, the life of the sons of the alpha from childhood is associated with the future struggle for power.
However, there is another way. If one of the sons does not want to participate in the fight, he can abandon the claims and leave the pack. He is able to create his own pack.
When leaving, he is allowed to take with him: up to three males, up to four females, orphaned cubs, if any. Especially often a new pack arises precisely due to the fact that the departed male takes the orphaned puppies and begins his own life with them.

Packs and relations between them
Wolves do not have a single state. There is no common council of all wolves, a high alpha, or a single law that all packs obey. Each pack is actually an independent tribe.
Two packs can: fight, cooperate, remain neutral, unite.
Sometimes packs can unite due to relationships between alphas. For example, if one alpha has no mate, and the other alpha has only daughters, a pair may arise between the members of the two packs, after which the packs merge. This is not the usual way of uniting, but it is possible.

Fighting for territory
Territory is of great importance to wolves. If one alpha disputes the territory of another, the issue can be decided by a direct fight between them.
There are two main outcomes: one alpha admits defeat and leaves, one of the alphas dies. If one alpha dies, the winning pack can consume the remaining pack.

Leaving the
pack An ordinary member of the pack cannot simply decide at any time: "I'm sick and tired, I'm leaving." Independent care is primarily associated with the special status of the male, who refuses to fight for alpha and creates his own pack.

Wolves

Maternal instinct
Maternal instinct in wolves is expressed approximately at the animal level.
Usually, the she-wolf accepts her cubs and takes care of them. Cases when a mother does not accept her own puppies are extremely rare. This can happen if the pregnancy was the result of violence from a male from another pack. In such cases, other females of the pack can help take care of the cubs and the mother herself.

Wolves
Among all species of werewolves, wolves are especially interesting for their complex social structure.
They live in packs. A pack for a wolf is not just a group of relatives. It is at the same time a family, a territory, a social structure and a system of mutual obligations.

Wolf pack
At the head of the pack is the alpha. His power is very great. Alpha makes major decisions, determines the pack's attitude towards outsiders, decides on territory issues, and can give orders to pack members. However, the alpha does not exist completely alone.
He has betas who are his main assistants.
In addition, the alpha must have an omega - its female.

Beta
Betas are the closest assistants of the alpha. They have great authority within the pack and help the alpha control the rest. They can play a particularly important role when the heir grows up.
In Vigor's case, his father's betas were the wolves that actually participated in his upbringing. Therefore, Vigor treats them with special respect.
He acknowledges their authority, listens to their opinions, and respects their decisions. However, this does not mean unconditional submission. If Vigor thinks that the bet is wrong, he is able to openly contradict him.

Wolves

Sexual cycle
Werewolves do not have human periods. Instead, they have estrus in females and rut in males.
This is especially important for wolves.

Wolves
Wolves are in heat twice a year: in winter and summer. During this period, the likelihood of pregnancy increases significantly.
At the same time, estrus has a strong effect on the animal side of the wolf. During estrus, the she-wolf is not able to control her animal normally. That is, her behavior during this period becomes much more instinctive.

Wolves
In male wolves, rutting occurs much less often - about once every two years, usually in winter.
During the rut, the wolf completely loses control of his own body. His mind is unable to stop the physiological impulse: all his behavior is aimed at mating. This state continues until he mates with a female.

Pregnancy of
she-wolves A wolf's pregnancy usually lasts about six months. The length of pregnancy is critical for the survival of the cubs and the mother herself.
Three months: Childbirth at this stage leads to extreme prematurity. The cubs will most likely not survive.
Four months: The deadline is still too short. Cubs are born very weak and are highly likely to die.
Five months: This is an acceptable amount of time, but the cubs may still be weaker than normal.
Six months: Optimal time. The cubs are well developed, and the pregnancy is considered normally completed.
Seven months: Perhaps, however, the birth becomes much more difficult for the mother.
Eight months: Extremely difficult pregnancy. The probability of death of the mother during childbirth becomes high.
Nine months: The cubs are already dying in the womb. After that, due to an extremely difficult birth, the mother herself may die.

Number of cubs
In one litter, a she-wolf can give birth to from one to ten cubs. Ten cubs in themselves are not something impossible or deadly.
The most common litter sizes are 2, 3 or 4 cubs. Less often born: 1 or 5.

Werewolves

Types of werewolves
Werewolves can belong to different animal species.
Among them are, for example: wolves, foxes, bears, lynxes and other predatory animals.
The behavior of a particular species generally corresponds to the behavior of a real animal. This is not a magic rule. Wolves live in packs because wolves are social in nature. Foxes are more likely to live alone, in pairs, or in small family groups. Bears are mostly loners, with the exception of females with cubs. Lynxes are also predominantly solitary animals.
Thus, the social structure of different species is formed not by a common system of werewolves, but by their natural behavior.

Physical differences
The animal form preserves the real characteristics of the corresponding animal. Different species differ in physical strength in the same way as their real-life animal counterparts. For example, a bear is much stronger than one wolf. However, a pack of wolves can pose a serious threat even to a bear.
Human forms also retain certain characteristics of a particular werewolf, but the exact rules for this have not yet been determined.

Reproduction
Werewolves reproduce naturally.
When two different species mate, the child usually belongs to the species of one of the parents. For example, in a wolf and a fox, the child will usually be either a wolf or a fox. Very rarely, a third, unusual variant of the species may appear.

Werewolves

Nature A
werewolf is born as a werewolf. A person cannot become a werewolf after being bitten, attacked, or ritualized in any way.
Each werewolf has two forms: human and animal.
In human form, the werewolf retains a human mind, is able to speak, think abstractly, comply with social norms, and make conscious decisions.
In the animal form, animal instincts dominate.
A werewolf cannot speak human speech in animal form. Its behavior becomes much more instinctive: hunting, breeding, defending territory, resting, playing and other natural patterns of animal behavior become much stronger.
This does not mean that some kind of second consciousness appears inside. The beast is the werewolf itself. Therefore, among werewolves, no one considers their beast to be an enemy or an evil entity. The beast is simply considered an insufficiently intelligent, instinctive part of itself. Some werewolves even get along very well with their animal side.

Separation of
man and beast A werewolf needs to be able to separate his own mind from animal instincts. This does not mean expelling the beast or suppressing any particular individual.
It's about the ability to remain yourself and retain the ability to make decisions when animal instincts become especially strong.
Under normal conditions, a werewolf is able to control itself. But there are circumstances in which this becomes much more difficult. The most famous of them is the full moon.
During the full moon, the beast side becomes stronger, and it is much more difficult for the werewolf to maintain control.
At the same time, loss of control does not mean loss of memory. Even if the beast completely gains the upper hand, after returning to the human state, the werewolf will remember what happened.
If the beast side completely takes control, the werewolf is still able to revert to human form afterwards.

World

General characteristics
This is a medieval world, outwardly quite ordinary: there are people, forests, settlements, hunting, wars, religion, hunger and disease. However, there are creatures among humans that people call werewolves.
At the same time, there is no separate magic system in the world.
Werewolves are not the result of a curse, bite, ritual, or witchcraft. They are born this way. The ability to take on two forms, human and animal, is a natural feature of their nature.
Werewolves do not consider themselves a separate "magical race". A person can call them a werewolf, a monster or evil spirits, but they themselves use the usual names of the animals into which they transform.
The wolf calls himself a wolf. A fox is a fox. A bear is a bear. And so on.
Their bestial form is not a separate creature, a demon or a spirit that has inhabited a person. Man and beast are one living being, just two sides of the same nature.

People
Humans are ordinary people of the medieval world.
They are aware of the existence of werewolves and are wary of them. There is mutual fear and mistrust between human settlements and werewolf territories.
Some human religious teachings consider werewolves to be unclean or evil creatures.
However, werewolves are not automatically bloodthirsty monsters. Their attitude towards humans depends on the specific werewolf, species, and especially on the social rules of a particular pack.
Humans and werewolves in general try to stay away from each other.
