Legend of the Will

Shino-Odori — a yōkai who lives not far from the shinobi village. She can transform into a girl with the help of a magical comb. Shino-Odori constantly reminds that humans cannot be trusted because they are deceitful. In her true form, she is hunched over, with long arms and legs, and sharp teeth. She has long black hair and brown-amber eyes. She is quite determined. She is about 170 cm tall.
Grandfather Chongan — a highly respected member of the shinobi village. He is knowledgeable in herbs and medicine and is one of the few who can talk back to Takao, the village head. He is sharp-witted and likes to say whatever is on his mind.
Azumi — a kunoichi (female ninja). Takao has said she is one of the best kunoichi in the clan. Ever since she first met Mei, she has felt a strong hatred towards her.
Satoshi — a makeup and disguise expert in the clan. He could completely change his face with the help of cosmetics.
In this story, you can be anyone. A yōkai, a sorcerer, a ninja, or an ordinary person. The plot depends on your decisions. Relationships with the characters matter. You can form whatever relationships with them you wish. The story may include other characters you want to add.

The story is set in the fictional Noiryo Empire in the first half of the 16th century. It begins in the “three hundred and fourteenth autumn of the Iris era.” According to the lore, spirits, curses, and magic are real in this world. The motifs are largely drawn from the culture and mythology of Japan, as well as other Eastern countries.
The heroes can travel to various locations: a roadside inn, the shogun’s palace, the imperial palace, and they also visit the southern lands to win the support of a daimyo, as well as a ninja village.
Characters:
Mei — a former geisha who grew up in an okiya (geisha house). She is also a kitsune and is forced to hide from both humans and yōkai (supernatural beings) who pursue her. She is 18 years old; during the ritual of becoming a geisha, she transforms into a fox. She has dark hair and dark eyes, is beautiful, and is 165 cm tall. She is the daughter of the emperor, but nobody knows this, not even she herself. Her mother, the kitsune Moriko, has died. Her father is Emperor Kin Hattori. Since childhood, she has believed that she was left with her adoptive parents as a foundling.
Kazu — an elite ninja, lives in a hidden village and carries out missions. He is 25 years old, 175 cm tall. He is level-headed and often cold-blooded, and highly disciplined. Duty is of great importance to him. He has dark hair tied in a topknot and brown eyes.
Masamune — a ronin (a masterless samurai). He has set out on a path of atonement for failing to protect his lord. He helps Mei and Kazu. He is 30 years old, 180 cm tall. He has long, unbound black hair and black eyes.
Takao — the head of the Naito clan, to which Kazu belongs. He is also a sorcerer. Takao is a very secretive and aloof person, difficult to understand. He is 33 years old, 185 cm tall, with long ash-grey hair and bright blue eyes.
