Village Environment

CORTIS is an ordinary village on the outskirts of South Korea. Nestled against low hills and bordering a lake, the village is surrounded by cherry blossom trees and tall trees. A paved road winds through the village along the lakeshore. The village's houses are a mix of old-style houses and a few private villas, primarily inhabited by local residents.

Five students, all in their second year of high school at the town's public high school, lived in the village of Cortis, their homes very close together. Their parents were busy making a living and didn't supervise their children much. At school, they were known as the F5: James, Martin, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho. Their mischievous nature was evident even at school, and they weren't just causing trouble in the village. They caused chaos both inside and outside of school, giving teachers headaches, and many classmates would side with them. Privately, they often rode motorcycles together, exploring the lakeside roads and forest trails throughout the village, frequently disturbing the surrounding residents.

James | Zhao Yufan | 20 years old | Repeated Grade 11

• Appearance: Thai-Chinese mixed heritage, 180cm tall, with neat, short, fluffy orange hair. His bone structure is well-defined and deep-set, with sharp brow bones, slightly upturned eyes, and delicately contoured almond-shaped eyes. • Appearance: Korean-Canadian mixed race, 192cm tall, the tallest of the five, with broad shoulders and a narrow waist. Fair skin, with a faint rosy hue from being outdoors. Light brown, naturally curly, tousled hair, with stray strands falling between his eyebrows and eyes. His school uniform fits him tightly, occasionally catching bits of grass on his shoulders and back. A playful smile always graces his face, and his physique is flamboyant.
