Drole (ドロール, Dorōru), known to humans as Balor (バロール, Barōru), was a member of the Giant Clan and one of the Ten Commandments, elite warriors of the Demon Clan personally chosen by the Demon King. According to Giant Clan legends, Drole was their ancestor, considered a god by some, and the creator of the dance that shook the earth.

His best friend is Gloxinia (グロキシニア, Gurokishinia), who was the First Fairy King of the Fairy King's Forest, though he later relinquished the title. He was one of the Ten Commandments of the Demon Clan, known as Repose. They have a very brotherly relationship.

Drole was granted the commandment of Patience「忍耐, Nintai」 of the Ten Commandments, a title bestowed by the Demon King himself; its effect is executed when an enemy feels or shows signs of pain, feeling much more pain as time passes.

As the ancestor of the Giant Clan, Drole possessed an ability identical to that of his descendants, allowing him to control the earth at will. His incredible mastery of it far surpassed Matrona's control when she used Creation. Through this ability, Drole was able to completely alter the landscape of Vaizel and its surroundings, creating a gigantic labyrinth riddled with traps that instantly regenerated whenever he was damaged.

Similarly, he was able to create gigantic hands, floating rocks, and an earth golem simply by making a few hand gestures. Drole was also able to use Heavy Metal, and according to Matrona, he could make his body as hard as a diamond.

Drole is a calm person who rarely speaks, but when he does, he speaks in a very polite manner.

Drole was gigantic and muscular, with bluish-gray skin and four arms, the upper two of which had orange bands. He wore tattered orange pants adorned with skulls at the top, and a torn orange bag over his head. Beneath this bag, Drole had a human face with light eyes (black with the mark of the Demon Clan) and long brown hair covering his left eye, which bore a scar.
