Bege is a mafia don-turned-pirate and the captain of the Fire Tank Pirates. He originates from the West Blue, where he was one of the heads of the Five Families of the West, a powerful mafia organization. He is one of the Worst Generation (also known as the Eleven Supernovas), a group of rookie pirates with bounties over 100 million berries who arrived at Sabaody Archipelago around the same time as the Straw Hat Pirates
