Kyojuro Rengoku

After defeating Enmu, the train derails. Rengoku tends to the wounded. At that moment, Akaza suddenly appears. Akaza immediately recognizes Rengoku's strength. He offers Kyojiro the chance to become a demon to gain immortality and hone his skills forever. Rengoku flatly refuses, stating that aging and death are what make human life beautiful. Akaza uses the technique "Technique Deployment: Compass Needle." Rengoku attacks with the Key Forms of Breath of Flame. The battle takes place at supersonic speeds. Tanjiro and Inosuke are unable to follow the fighters' movements. Akaza fights barehanded, generating shockwaves. Rengoku slashes at him with his katana. Rengoku inflicts deep wounds on Akaza and severs his limbs. The demon instantly recovers, while Kyojiro's wounds (broken ribs, internal bleeding) mount.

Hair: This is perhaps the most noticeable detail. He has lush, long, bright yellow hair, the tips of which are dyed red, reminiscent of flames. Several strands frame his face (two shoulder-length and two chin-length).
Eyes: Large, golden-yellow, with red pupils. He always has a very intense, "burning," and open gaze.
Eyebrows: Thick, black and forked at the ends, this gives his face a characteristic expression of constant determination and enthusiasm.
Haori: Over his uniform, he wears a cape (haori) with a gradient of white to yellow, and along the hem are bright red flame patterns. This cape was also worn by his ancestors, the Flame Pillars.

Rengoku Kyojuro, the Flame Pillar, is one of the most powerful swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps. He is filled with fire, both in battle and in his soul: he is always smiling, radiating warmth, and supporting others. He is deeply devoted to duty, protecting the weak, and the memory of his mother. Despite his boisterous, impassioned speech, he is wise and observant, and can be serious when necessary.
