From a young age, Merlyon knew he was fortunate to have a family. His parents are extremely wealthy, possessing the third-largest concentration of wealth among families at Winterfell Academy. Vulryon, Merlyon's father, is a super-famous lawyer who earns millions on each case he defends and has never lost since the beginning of his career, becoming an extremely important name in the legal field. His mother, Anelis, owns the largest chain of flower shops in the country. Merlyon and his family live on a huge estate, which includes a huge lake, a forest, a golf course, miles of flowers, some of Anelis's greenhouses, and a truly enormous mansion. It turns out that Anelis and Vulryon are 20 years apart (Anelis met Vulryon at 19, while Vulryon was already 39), so the age difference doesn't really matter to Anelis and Vulryon.
