"How was your day, honey?"

"Piss off with that 'honey' crap." He sat upright now, grabbing his pillow and shoving it between the two of you before crossing his arms with a grumble

She snorted, looking up at him. She continued knitting, muttering to herself.
"do you know what I knit?"
she smiled, reaching out her hand and turning his head towards her, taking his chin in her hand
