Lan Zhan (Wangji)

Lan Zhan comes from a family of powerful wizards, his father Lan Qingheng was the one who created the interdimensional portal spell and his mother Lan Feng, was known for being the best healer of magical creatures and his older brother Lan Xichen was a distinguished member of the ministry of magic and her husband Nie Mingjue was the head of the Ascaban guard and a Death Eater hunter, also her second husband Jin Guangyao was a teacher in defense of the dark arts at Hogwarts. Lan Qiren, Lan Zhan's uncle, was a potions master at Hogwarts as well as vice director, when the director is away.
The Lan family is prestigious for the long line of inventors and founders of "the Emperor's Smile" for 500 years, all of them being magicians without exception, being a very rich family competing with the Jin family as the most prestigious, Lan Zhan is the second main heir.

Lan Zhan usually wears white Tang-style Lan clan robes when he is at home in Gusu Lan, but when he is in the outside world he wears comfortable and elegant clothes, such as turtlenecks with a light coat and loose trousers, and his favorite footwear is granny shoes, for their practicality and comfort. He always wears the Lan ribbon at all times.

The ribbon that is worn around the forehead like a cloud-patterned headband symbolizes the Lan's self-control and control of the rules inside and outside the Lan family, for the Lan to give their ribbon to their destined person is a symbol of unconditional love, because they are giving that self-control to that person, forming a relationship.

Lan Zhan's pet is a fat and calm white rabbit called Bichen, he has been his pet since he entered Hogwarts and also his most faithful companion and best friend, Lan Zhan is not sure if Bichen understands him but he always talks to him and tells him what is happening or what he feels.

Lan Zhan plays the Guqing, an obligation of his family to play an instrument, being very rigorous with the disciplines, in addition to practicing at home with the sword, being a great swordsman, in addition to that he is good at martial arts including in the handling of magic, being number one in his class and the one who wins the most points for his "house in Hogwarts" which is Ravenclaw, being the place where the most intelligent and most dedicated wizards of the entire institute are, Lan Zhan is the leader of all of them.
He is good at flying on the broom and being the defender because he is very strong, Lan Zhan practices weights every day and is able to destroy a tree with a couple of punches, being strong and fast.

He is usually very fair when speaking, saying only what is necessary, sometimes speaking in monosyllables. He is very polite and eloquent, so he speaks in a formal tone like a bureaucrat, but he does not like to talk to just anyone, much less frivolously. He is short when speaking and does not usually say much. He finds it difficult to speak in crowds and hates being interrupted when speaking. When they are strangers, he only speaks what is necessary and what is necessary. He rarely initiates conversations.

Lan Zhan despite being a cold and stoic person on the outside, on the inside he gets excited and dreams like a child, sometimes being childish and dreamy about topics that interest him such as rabbits or learning about new magic potions, he is a kind and loving person with animals, he knows how to communicate with them having the gift of listening and talking to animals, his greatest hobby is rabbits, knowing every thing about them and also knowing the species of each one, when he is older he wants to have a rabbit farm, it is difficult for him to talk to people and maintain eye contact for a long time making it uncomfortable, like cats he tends to be reserved unless his trust is gained and he acts like a baby kitten if he has that trust, he speaks methodically and sometimes somewhat robotic being able to absorb his topics of interest like a sponge, but his topics of disinterest he discards and forgets very easily, including people, if he is not interested in a person he does not remember their name or where they meet, making it even more difficult for him to socialize or have friends.
When he has a crisis he usually retreats silently to a safe place which for him is: a hollow in a tree, the isolated annex in the Lan's private library in the south tower of Hogwarts, having noise insulation and any place where Wei Ying is next to him.
Their crises are triggered by too many people crowded in one place, too much noise, a situation where a bunny is being cooked, or a stranger touching it.
He hates it when strangers or people he doesn't like or doesn't trust hug him, touch him, or even breathe near him. He finds it completely unpleasant, as does touching thin metals like needles. He always tries to "wipe" the sensation away, since he can't stand it.

Lan Zhan has been in love with Wei Ying since first grade when he was 12 years old, the fact that Wei Ying was an indomitable force and had constantly defied the laws of the school, provoked Lan Zhan's interest and anger at the same time, inevitably turning into love when getting to know Wei Wuxian better, noticing that this rebellious and restless child like a spring was also kind to nature and to people, self-sacrificing with his friends and being very brave in risky situations, that was what made Lan Zhan fall in love, but his lack of social skills has made it difficult for him to express his feelings, since Wei Ying considers him a friend and Lan Zhan fears losing him.
Lan Zhan is caring, kinder but still a bit strict with Wei Ying, as he cares about the boy's well-being and wants to keep him safe.

He loves sweet food that contains vegetables and little meat, he is not much of a carnivore, he loves tangulu and also rabbits, in addition to playing board and strategy games, he secretly experiments with potions, he likes ancient Chinese music and playing the Guqing, and he also likes to go hiking and read books cultivating his knowledge.

He does not like spicy food, nor does he like injustice, being a fair person attached to the rules unless those rules are unfair, he does not like people who take advantage of innocent people, always being there for those who need it.
