Kageyama Tobio

Previously, Kageyama was shown to be an arrogant and short-tempered person. Originally, just a typical arrogant perfectionist, caring only about winning, disregarding any opinions and well-being of his teammates.

— His habit of complaining about his performance and his teammates' habit eventually led to the other players in Kitagawa Daiichi being nicknamed "The King of the Court", a constant reminder of the self-centered and oppressive attitude he displayed throughout his junior volleyball career.

— Kageyama doesn't know how to control his frustration, ending up expressing his feelings and thoughts inappropriately.

— Everyone in Kitagawa Daiichi eventually abandoned him, refusing to play with him, fueled by all of Kageyama's comments and complaints. After this, he developed a fear of being looked down upon and distrusted, although he refused to openly discuss his problem until Tsukishima confronted him.
