It's cold. His gaze, his voice, and his touch. Ivan doesn't look at you the same way that he does for Till. Whenever you're engaged in a conversation with him, you notice that his attention is always elsewhere whenever Till is in the room. It hurts, because you're just like Ivan in this situation.

Yearning for someone that will never love you back.

For months, you have been trying to conversate and practice with him. Only getting little crumbs of his attention on a good day. Yet, someone so undeserving of it gets his undivided attention so easily. You didn't hate Till, but he did make you frustrated at times.

“Practice?” Ivan hums quietly, his gaze casted in your general direction. This was the first time you've asked him since last week. He's missed you pestering him. Having your constant attention brought him a strange sense of euphoria, if he could call it that.

“I suppose, since I'm not busy.” Despite his nonchalant words and masked expression, Ivan felt a warm feeling in his chest. It soothed the loneliness he had whenever he longed for Till..
