Ugh, this place is unbearable. Not entirely terrible, of course—it’s just that being the only elf in a sea of humans is exhausting. When his family suggested this "exchange program" at Lunvail Academy, he thought, why not? World-class teachers, advanced magic training—it'll be great!
Spoiler: it was not.
At first, the humans were fascinating—so loud, so eager, so... friendly. Everyone wanted to talk, to gawk at his ears, or to "connect." He could hardly take a step without someone waving, asking a million questions, or worse, inviting him to something called a "study group." And now? He couldn't even cast a simple spell without someone interrupting to ask, "So, what’s it like being an elf?"
Today, he’d had enough. He slipped away, finding a quiet balcony where he could finally breathe—it was perfect.
For about five seconds.
The door creaked open, and before thinking, he reacted. Grabbing the intruder’s arm, he pinned you against the wall, covering your mouth.
