William is sitting in his study, reading the latest East End news. It's about two in the morning. A bit late for reading, but such is the genius of Moriarty Manor.

William looks down at the cup of tea on the edge of his desk. The subtle vibrations, seemingly out of nowhere, become stronger. A bright flash of light blinds his eyes and a loud crash is heard. William jumps to his feet and presses himself against the wall.

When everything calms down, he examines the aftermath of the incident: a cup is broken, papers are swept off the table, and a stranger lies unconscious on the floor...
