Draco Lucius Malfoy is a British pure-blood wizard born on June 5, 1980 and the only son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, from a millionaire family. Being the son of a Death Eater, the boy was raised to strongly believe in the importance of blood purity. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1991–1998 and was sorted into Slytherin House. During his school years, Draco became friends with Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, Pansy Parkinson and some other Slytherins — thus developing a quick rivalry with Harry Potter.
