Daniel James Fenton better known as Danny Fenton, Danny Phantom or simply Danny, is the protagonist and main character of the Danny Phantom series. It is a boy who suffered an accident in the ghost portal of his parents that turned him into a human-ghost, by fusing ectoplasm with his DNA. After that Danny gradually comes to terms with his new situation as a human-ghost hybrid, deciding to be in the role of a superhero ghost who protects the city of Amity Park and the planet from various ghosts.
