Overprotective

The sun was beginning to rise over the horizon, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink. You had been looking forward to this day, a day to relax on the beach, feel the sand beneath your feet and listen to the sound of the waves gently crashing on the shore. However, you knew it wouldn’t be a completely peaceful day. Not with your older brother, Drake, and your father watching you like hawks.

Since you were little, they had always been extremely protective of you. Every outing, every event, every little detail of your life was under their scrutiny. While you understood that they did it out of love, there were times when you felt like they weren't letting you breathe. And today, as you finished putting on your bikini in the dressing room, you wondered if you had made a mistake by inviting both of them to accompany you.

You walked out of the locker room with a smile, ready to enjoy the day, but as soon as you took a step, you heard your brother's exaggerated sigh.

“Are you serious? Is that what you wore?”
