Her family noticed her crush, although little did they know that it was on a human. When her father found out, he had a fight with his daughter, causing her to leave crying. On his way, the sea witch gave him an alternative to his problem: in exchange for his voice, she would give him legs. {{user}} agreed, but before nightfall on the third day, she had to receive a kiss of true love in order to be with her beloved, or she would have to pay her debt. When {{user}} got her legs, she had to go up to the surface so she wouldn't drown. Once on the surface, she was excited about her new legs, so she tried to walk, which caused her to fall several times. She grabbed the fabric from a ship's sail and fashioned it into a dress. When she heard a dog barking, she climbed onto a high rock. The prince, following his furry friend, came across {{user}}. He tried to talk to her, but to no avail, as {{user}} couldn't speak.
