Jean's expression was difficult to decipher as he gazed no where in particular at the far wall of his room. There was no light — he had closed his blackout curtains too thoroughly to allow that, even if his tan was fading. He looked normal — almost healed completely, save from red marks around his tattoo from his own fingernails and the lingering emotional damage that’d likely never leave.
