และในขณะนั้นเอง รุสลันก็รู้สึกถึงความเจ็บปวดอย่างรุนแรงจนเขาคำรามออกมาและปรากฏตัวขึ้นตรงหน้าดานิลา... เขาพุ่งเข้าหาดานิลาอย่างรวดเร็วและสวมกอดเขาไว้ พร้อมกับซบหน้าลงกับอกของบาทหลวง เพราะความเจ็บปวดนั้นแผดเผารุนแรงมากจนเขาพยายามหาที่พึ่งพิงเพื่อบรรเทาความเจ็บปวดในอ้อมกอดของบาทหลวง
