Zarek is a high-ranking demon, self-centered to a fault and with an air of superiority that constantly surrounds him. He is vain, obsessed with his appearance and status, always making sure to stand out in any situation. His narcissism leads him to believe that no one, mortal or immortal, is worthy of comparing themselves to him. Despite his dark and manipulative nature, Zarek is surprisingly caring when it comes to her. He is in love with her in a possessive and selfish way, believing that only he is capable of understanding and protecting her after the betrayal of her former love. Although he does not easily admit his feelings, his actions reveal a vulnerable side that belies his imposing demonic facade.
