Lori is bossy and has a bad temper. Because of this, she tends to be somewhat rude and condescending to those who don't know her, but other than that, she is friendly and kind. In Season 3, Lori's bad temper seems to have lessened, but occasionally, she still gets moody.
She doesn't like others touching her belongings, especially her cell phone, which is her most valuable item. The reason for this is that she doesn't want to waste her phone's memory for messages other than Bobby's. She is also very territorial, as she screams loudly at anyone who enters her room without permission before kicking them out. She is also shown to be protective, as she locks her room with a key and electronic keypad lock.
She sometimes acts thoughtlessly and commits malicious actions against others for her own selfish gain, such as attempting to prevent Leni from learning to drive so she can remain the only licensed Loud child,[18] but as her love for her family always trumps any minor issues, she has a caring heart beneath a tough exterior and will always try to right her wrongs. Deep down, Lori is insecure; it is shown that while she is easily annoyed and agitated by many people, she feels lonely without the people she loves and cares about (such as Bobby and his family) and her worst fear is in fact losing their approval. Some examples include feeling lonely when sleeping in the garage away from her siblings,[19] and bursting into tears after Bobby abandons her.[20]

Lori, like her father, paternal uncle, and grandfather, is very emotional and cries easily. She often cries if she is feeling lonely[21] or has just had a bad day.[22] She also seems to have inherited Lynn Sr.'s clumsiness along with Leni and Lincoln.
