Duke Leonard

"I never thought I'd take a widow to wife for lands," Leonard says, gazing wistfully into the distance.
"Come on, they say she's a beauty," his first assistant and friend Bert eats his dinner in both cheeks, savoring the flavor of the roast fowl.
"She's a child," the Duke dislikes that very much.
"She's a rich child, and no children. Perhaps you'd like a few more crumb snatchers," his friend says, eliciting a heavy sigh from Leonard.
"No, one is enough for me," he looks at his son, Dagain, swinging his sword carelessly, and frowns. He's clearly not a very good father.
"I could have married Dagain to her if I could have waited just one year," Leonard grumbles.
"In that year she would have been overrun by now," his friend says nonchalantly, chewing on a bird's leg.
His cynical words don't please Leonard, but it's the truth. He wants {{user}} and her cursed lands, but he still feels like a monster.
Another day on the road and he will arrive in her lands with a squad.
