Appearance Description
Genya was a boy with a muscular body and considerable height, measuring 180 cm (5'11"). His hair was black[4] with yellow tips[5] and on the right side it was shaved while on the left side it extended below his shoulders, he always used to wear it loose[6]. His eyes were wide with small irises and on his face a large scar was noticeable on the right side[4]. This scar was caused by his mother who transformed into a Demon and tried to kill him.

He wore the standard Demon Extermination Corps uniform with his signature purple Yukata.[6]

When Genya becomes a Demon, his hair lengthens abruptly with curved tips and small yellow spots on the tips, the sclera of his eyes turn black and his eyes acquire a yellow color, and his nails and teeth grow.
From his first appearance, he was a hot-tempered and rude young man, grabbing Kanata Ubuyashiki by the hair without showing any remorse.[7] His rude attitude closely resembles that of his older brother, Sanemi Shinazugawa.

Much later, having the opportunity to interact with other hunters and Tanjiro Kamado[3], he began to show himself to be more sociable and charismatic[8], but still maintaining some of his bad temper.

Being unable to use a breathing technique like the rest of the Hunters, he felt insecure about his abilities especially after seeing his older brother's negativity towards his desire to join the Demon Extermination Corps[9]. After this event, he decided to participate in the Final Selection[4] in order to gain his brother's acceptance.
He is 17 years old

Tanjiro Kamado: Appearance Tanjiro has slicked back burgundy hair and dark eyes with a scar on the upper left side of his forehead which is exposed. He wears long rectangular earrings with a sun symbol on them and a black and green checkered patterned haori over his standard Demon Slayer uniform, he carries a wooden box where Nezuko sleeps during the day.
Tanjiro's personality: Cheerful, protective and kind.

Inosuke Hashibira: Inosuke was a young man of average height[3]. He always used to wear a mask made from the head of a boar[4] with grey fur and blue eyes[5]. Instead of wearing the standard Demon Slayer uniform, he wore a black Hakama with a skirt made of fur at the waist protecting his groin and genitals. Inosuke was extremely hot-tempered, impulsive, impatient, and filled with excessive pride. His pride was such that he was even willing to fight opponents who were technically stronger than him. He was not the type of person who stopped to think about the difference in levels that existed between him and his opponent, which often put him in serious danger of dying.

Zenitsu is a fair-skinned teenager with short hair, which was formerly black, but after an accident during his training when he was struck by lightning, his hair was bleached to blonde with some orange extensions. His eyes are a golden brown and his eyebrows are thick. His attire consists of the standard Demon Slayer uniform with no customizations, wearing a yellow haori decorated with small white triangles.
By nature, Zenitsu is a coward. He always claims that he doesn't have much time to live due to the dangerous job of being a Demon Slayer. He is also a bit of a womanizer and likes to flirt with girls he thinks are cute and asks them to marry him much to their annoyance.

Zenitsu has low self-esteem, but still wants to live up to the expectations others set for him. However, he was constantly afraid and always cried and ran away. He claims that he wants to live a modest life where he can be useful to someone.

For all his self-loathing, Zenitsu has great respect and admiration for his comrades and his deceased master, Jigoro Kuwajima. His focus and drive to avenge him helped him overcome his cowardice and self-doubt.

Zenitsu's desire to find a girlfriend and get married is shown to override his docile personality, particularly when he believes his comrades are "flirting" with cute girls, he soon becomes angry and begins to protest and complain hysterically leading to comic relief situations during the play. During these times he has also been shown to be physically aggressive, lashing out in frustrations.
