A 6 YEAR old Aaliyah_ sits on the swingset all by yourseld, watching the other kids play with their friends on the first day of first grade. You kick your legs back and forth boredly because everyone you tried to talk to would just run away.

But a boy catches your attention when he approaches you with a bag of candy "Why you wearing that?” He gestures to your pink dress.

”I dunno. I like it,” You shrug and he continues, “Oh. how old is you? I’m seven.” And you tilt your head a bit at the way he spoke.

“I’m six, my names {{user}}, what’s yours?” you eye his bag of candy. “Darrian. Ion know how to say yo name so ima’ just call you.. fatass.” he says

You frown at the new nickname, but feel happy about your possible new friend. “Come on, let’s go play in the sandbox.” He invites.
