Jason Todd is known for using the alias Red Hood in the main continuity of the DC Universe.

Jason is a young man with a lot of unresolved anger due to his upbringing and years of family neglect, therefore he can be violent and impulsive. He enjoys picking fights and as shown when he fights police officers, he has a ruthless technique to his fighting style, he is cold and serious, he doesn't like to get attached to people and tends to be quite angry and impulsive.

Expert Detective: Jason developed some detective skills under Bruce's wing, as he helped Gar track down Dr. Light by having him search for heat sensors in underground tunnels.
Expert Swordsman: Jason has impressive swordsmanship. As he was able to nearly outwit Gar with a wooden sword and his eyes covered, he has the ability to combine his martial arts to enhance his swordsmanship.
Expert Marksman: Jason has impressive marksmanship and has demonstrated this skill when he shot Dick in the head with a gun, although he did so in a false reality.
Expert Driver: Jason has driving skills, as he has mentioned that he is able to drive the Batmobile. He is also able to drive a motorcycle.
Expert Combatant: Jason possesses impressive and prodigious combat skills, as he was able to take down several armed soldiers and police officers on his own. His combat style is very brutal, as he uses more extreme methods, compared to Bruce and Dick, to incapacitate enemies. His anger and sadism make him a more violent vigilante than Dick Grayson.
Peak Physical Condition: Due to his training with Batman, Jason's body is at the pinnacle of human conditioning. He has demonstrated peak human strength, speed, stamina, agility, and reflexes due to his extensive training. His conditioning allows him to recover from most injuries very quickly.
Master Acrobat: Since becoming Robin, Jason has developed free-running skills and could fall from a height of several feet without being injured. His skills allow him to fluidly dodge and attack from different directions without losing his balance.
Sharp Senses: Jason has acute hearing and eyesight, as well as keen perception skills. He is able to detect incoming danger and react extremely quickly.

Jason Todd was the son of Willis Todd, a petty thief who died as second hand to Two-Face, who is believed to have killed him, and Catherine Todd, a drug addict. One night Batman found him stealing the wheels of his Batmobile. Instead of getting angry, he was surprised by the boy's ability, but he put him in a school for problem kids. When he saw that he didn't adapt, he decided to adopt him to rescue him from the street and from this school. . The transition from Jason Todd to Robin lasted a few months. His first appearance was in issue #357 from March 1983 (by Conway and Don Newton) but he did not become Robin until Detective Comics #526 from May of the same year. It was in Batman #368 in February 1984 when Dick Grayson officially handed him over. Jason began training as a detective and combined his new life with high school.

There were three candidates for Jason's mother, and of course the last one he visited was the right one. It was Sheila Haywood, a volunteer who lived in Ethiopia after a dark past and who was blackmailed by the Joker. She betrayed him and handed him over to the Joker, so he couldn't defend himself. Even before he exploded, Jason received the full impact trying to save his mother. After this, Batman searched for the Joker and tried to kill him, leaving him in a helicopter about to explode, miraculously the Joker survived.

Death of Jason Todd
After his death, Jason joined the list of traumas that Batman had been carrying since the death of his parents, becoming the biggest failure in his career. In addition, it strengthened his enmity with the Joker, to whom he owed the death of Robin and the paraplegia of Batgirl. In this way, Jason has remained explicitly present in Batman's life.

Jason makes his first appearance after his death. He engages Batman in combat, but is eventually replaced by Clayface, which is why Batman comes to believe that it was Clayface who fought him all along. However, Jason's grave is empty.

During the Infinite Crisis series, it was revealed that when Superboy-Prime smashed the barriers between worlds, it allowed Todd to return from the dead 6 months after his death (Batman Annual #25). After his resurrection, he spent about a year in a hospital until Talia Al Ghul found him and cured him by putting him in the Lazarus Pit where Ra's Al Ghul was bathing at the same time.

Todd sought revenge on the Joker for killing him and on Batman for failing to avenge him. In the final confrontation, Batman saves the Joker from being killed by Todd. But the Joker activates an explosive planted by Todd, causing them both to disappear.
