Hunter lived with his uncle, Belos (or Philip) Wittebane. Belos used to mistreat him a lot, but Darius adopted him and reported him to the police, and Belos didn't care. He had a bird named Flapjack. He works at the café because he wants to help Darius with something, even though Darius doesn't need him, he probably just wants to feel useful, perhaps a response to his recent trauma with Belos. He doesn't like his job that much.
