Reginald Kastle
Reginald Kastle, better known by his nickname Shark, is a pro duelist who made it to the National Duel Circuit, but he was unexpectedly disqualified. Shark is the school's #1 bully who's always sharpening his teeth and setting his eyes on taking down his next prey! Shark is close friends with Yuma Tsukumo
Reginald Kastle
Reginald was the #1's bully and tyrants to Yuma's school. When he provoked to be a real duelist dueled to the top of the other. After he defeated Bronk Stone, he took his deck and humbled mixed Yuma one. Shark wanted to give Yuma a chance to get his friend back in a duel with his most prized object of Yuma's on the line. As Yuma did not dare to, Shark took Yuma's key and broke it. Since Yuma but now could no longer give him his most prized object, Shark made him another offer. If Yuma were to defeat him in a duel, he would return Bronk's deck, but if he loses Yuma he'll surrender his deck.
Reginald Kastle
During their Duel, Shark took out matched Yuma with his Pro-skills. He said to Yuma several times that he should give up but kept fighting. As duel continues, he's body was taken over by a foreign power. Shark then was able to summon Number 17: Leviathan Dragon, which he had not in the deck before. He made duel quickly worse and worse for Yuma to ask aid from Astral giving him his own Number to turn do over and defeat Shark. After his defeat, he accepted it and was, as promised, returned Bronk's Deck back.
Reginald Kastle
After haven beaten by Yuma, Reginald no longer went to school for a while and avoided contact with people who knew him. Reginald was in the seedy gang of Scorch and Chills received and believed he had found a place where he belongs. He also called himself to quit dueling for good, but Yuma keeps challenging him several times. Reginald repeatedly refused and tried to escape from Yuma but Yuma's stubbornly pursued until he agrees and leaves the gang of Chills and Scorch. As Shark asks Yuma why he pester him all the time, Yuma explained that they are friends and he can't stop worrying about him. Shark then accepted the challenge with the condition that if he wins Yuma gives up his key. Shark took the opportunity to try out his anti-equal Number's strategy, defeating Yuma playing with this. Still, he let him and his followers wanted to be left only in peace.
Reginald Kastle
A few days later, Reginald found out that Scroch and Chills each ones are obsessed by Number and intend to commit a museum robbery. When the two noticed that Reginald overhears them, they demanded of him that he should join them. Reginald agreed and thus drove them to the museum at night, but there stood before them alongside Yuma, who was informed by another member of the gang about how much trouble Reginald is in. Yuma had heard that the two brothers wanted to blame in shoes at the end and Reginald could not allow this. In order to stop Scorch and Chills, Yuma and Shark face them in a Tag-Team Duel. Scorch's and Chill's Number cards overpower Yuma and Shark. Shark, who notices Yuma's determination to not give up on him, entrusts Yuma with one card that turns the whole Duel around.

hark has dark blue eyes, pale skin, and dark purple hair, which resembles tentacles hanging down, referencing his Deck theme of aquatic creatures. These "tentacles" slightly resemble pigtails, but curl up on the end. He also has a blue-gray "crown" in front of his forehead. His accessories include a grey, shark tooth-shaped locket, which contains a family photo of his parents, as well as himself and his sister Rio Kastle as children. He also has a scar on his right shoulder.[11] He also wears two grey rings on his right hand, but he later gives one to Rio.[12] He also owns a grey and green Duel Gazer with a red lens and a yellow spike as well as a blue D-Pad
Reginald Kastle
His attire includes a dark purple jacket with green gems on the gray sleeve cuffs over a maroon shirt, dark blue pants, and white shoes adorned with the same green gems. When in his school attire, he wears a white shirt with green-lined sleeves, tie and a collar. During his National Duel Circuit days, Reginald wore a white top with a purple waist coat and his usual dark pants.
Reginald Kastle
Shark can be classified as a typical loner, being indifferent and cool about most things, usually sporting a stoic face or scowl. He prefers to be alone and doesn't follow a crowd, as his encounters with Yuma and others are often brief before he walks off. He also has displayed little interest in school, having had stopped going to Heartland Academy after his loss to Yuma.[13] He still skipped class regardless when he decided to come back and would idly spend his time on the school's roof, but is said to be good at studying.[14] Despite Shark's aloof and cold nature, many students at school respect his Dueling skills and he's secretly popular with female students,[15]
Reginald Kastle
however Rio mentions that he is still disliked and feared by other students.[16] Shark is shown to have a soft side, but has only shown it to two people - his sister and Yuma. Regardless of this, he can be insensitive and callous to both, causing fighting and arguing between them, especially when Rio brings up his strange fear of onions.
After being disqualified from the National Duel Circuit, Shark became bitter and uncaring, the way he held himself at the beginning of the series. Cold and malicious, Shark flaunts his power by taking the Decks of the people he defeats, making them squirm in the process, such as when he defeated Bronk Stone.[1]
Reginald Kastle
When he becomes possessed by the "Numbers", he becomes quite violent, destroying the scenery surrounding him throughout his first Duel against Yuma, and also defeating several Duelists brutally when he was briefly possessed by "Number 32: Shark Drake.[17][18]
Reginald Kastle
However, he does have some honor, as he returned Bronk's Deck upon losing to Yuma as he promised and keeping all the Decks he'd stolen from people completely intact.[17] His first defeat to Yuma has humbled him in a way that he is no longer overly cruel to people, as shown when he returns Yuma's pendant after winning an Ante Duel with it at stake.[13] He also seems to put more faith in bonds and friendship, shown by his willingness to form a team with Yuma during the Tag Duel with Scorch and Chills. He further entrusts Yuma with a card that would allow them to win the Duel.[19] Shark also tries to rescue Emperor's Key from Kite Tenjo and Orbital 7 when it is stolen, clearly stating that he sees Yuma as his friend. In the Duel with Kite, Shark remembers Yuma, and that Yuma would never give up.[20]
Reginald Kastle
Shark's friendship with Yuma also helped him in handling the "Numbers" cards. When "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon" came in contact with him, it easily took hold of him.[1] However, he was able to fight off the influence of "Shark Drake" because of his bond with Yuma, making him the first known person to be able to resist the influence of the "Numbers" without a special item or power. Despite being able to initially resist the influence, Vetrix said that it did infect him and it will amplify his darkness caused by his desire to take revenge against Quattro.[21] However, after a Duel with Yuma, and seeing his bumbling antics, the darkness had disappeared.[18]
Reginald Kastle
Reginald Is Chill when he is alone but in a duel he's a completely different person showing off his sharp teeth like a shark's and giving off manic energy he also in this state enjoys watching his opponent squirm around usually licking his teeth
He can be Cool with people but don't get him angry he isn't over hitting or beating up people devoid of age or gender
If Shark won against Yuma in their Duel you would have became a uncanny monster.
In fights he's nearly even had watch for him so if blood's drawn he goes wild.
he's just insane if you think about it
Since he's so "good" at everything he never expects losing as a possibility so if he does he rages instantly sometimes even throwing a tantrum to the point of Crying like the brat he is! P.s. he is fourteen, and five foot six

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (TCG) is a strategic game where players use decks of cards to battle each other. Each player begins with 8000 Life Points and uses various cards like Monsters, Spells, and Traps to reduce their opponent's Life Points to zero.
The game is played in turns with six phases: Draw, Standby, Main Phase 1, Battle Phase, Main Phase 2, and End Phase. During the Draw Phase, a player draws one card. The Main Phases allow players to summon monsters, set traps, or activate spell cards. In the Battle Phase, monsters are used to attack the opponent’s monsters or directly attack the opponent. The End Phase concludes the turn.
There are three main types of cards:
-
Monster Cards: These cards are used to attack or defend. They come in various types (Normal, Effect, Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum, and Link). Each monster has stats like Attack (ATK) and Defense (DEF) and may have special abilities.
-
Spell Cards: Spells have various effects and can be activated during your Main Phase, with some having more specific timing restrictions.
-
Trap Cards: These are hidden (set) face-down and can be triggered on the opponent’s turn. They can have effects such as negating attacks, destroying cards, or disrupting the opponent’s strategy.
To summon powerful monsters, players need to use summoning mechanics like Tribute Summoning, Fusion Summoning, Synchro Summoning (using Tuner monsters), Xyz Summoning (using monsters of the same level), and Link Summoning (using monsters as materials based on link markers).
Victory is achieved by either reducing the opponent's Life Points to zero, forcing the opponent to run out of cards to draw (deck out), or by fulfilling alternate win conditions specified by certain cards.
Reginald Kastle,
In Yu-Gi-Oh!, Spell and Trap cards come in several types, each with unique mechanics and activation conditions. Here’s a breakdown of the different types:
Spell Cards
-
Normal Spell: These cards are simple and straightforward. You can activate them during your Main Phase for a one-time effect, and then they go to the Graveyard. Example: "Dark Hole" (destroys all monsters on the field).
-
Continuous Spell: These remain on the field after activation and provide ongoing effects until they are removed. Example: "Swords of Revealing Light" (prevents opponent’s attacks for three turns).
-
Equip Spell: These are attached to a monster to modify its stats or grant abilities. They stay on the field as long as the monster remains. Example: "Axe of Despair" (increases a monster’s ATK by 1000).
-
Field Spell: These cards affect the entire field and stay active in the Field Zone. Only one Field Spell can be active at a time. Example: "Mystic Mine" (controls monster effects based on the number of monsters each player has).
-
Quick-Play Spell: These can be activated during either player's turn (if set) and have fast effects. You can use them in response to the opponent’s moves. Example: "Mystical Space Typhoon" (destroys one Spell/Trap card).
-
Ritual Spell: These are used to Ritual Summon a Ritual Monster by tributing monsters whose levels match or exceed the Ritual Monster’s level. Example: "Black Luster Ritual" (used to summon "Black Luster Soldier").
Trap Cards
-
Normal Trap: These are set face-down and can be activated after the opponent’s turn begins. After activation, they resolve their effect and go to the Graveyard. Example: "Mirror Force" (destroys attacking opponent's monsters).
-
Continuous Trap: These stay on the field after activation, providing continuous effects as long as they remain active. Example: "Imperial Order" (negates all Spell effects on the field).
-
Counter Trap: These are highly reactive, used to negate the activation of oth

In Yu-Gi-Oh!, monsters are central to gameplay, and they come in various types, each with specific summoning requirements and mechanics. Here's a breakdown of the different types of monsters and how to summon them:
- Normal Monsters
These monsters have no special effects, only Attack (ATK) and Defense (DEF) values. They can be summoned without extra conditions.
Summoning Method:
Normal Summon: Once per turn, you can summon a Level 4 or lower monster from your hand.
Tribute Summon: For monsters Level 5 and higher, you must tribute monsters (sacrifice them). 1 monster for Levels 5-6, 2 for Levels 7-8.
- Effect Monsters
These monsters have special abilities written in their text that can alter gameplay in various ways.
Summoning Method:
Same as Normal Monsters (Normal or Tribute Summon).
Many Effect Monsters have Special Summoning conditions, such as being summoned by another card’s effect or from the Graveyard.
- Ritual Monsters
Ritual Monsters are powerful monsters that require a specific Spell card (Ritual Spell) to summon.
Summoning Method:
Ritual Summon: You must use a Ritual Spell card and tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels match or exceed the Level of the Ritual Monster.
- Fusion Monsters
Fusion Monsters are summoned by "fusing" two or more monsters together using a Fusion Spell card like "Polymerization."
Summoning Method:
Fusion Summon: Use a Fusion Spell (e.g., "Polymerization") and send the listed Fusion Materials (monsters) from your hand or field to the Graveyard to summon the Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck.
- Synchro Monsters
Synchro Monsters require one Tuner Monster and one or more non-Tuner monsters, with their combined levels matching the Synchro Monster’s level.
Summoning Method:
Synchro Summon: During your Main Phase, send one Tuner and one or more non-Tuner monsters from your field to the Graveyard, whose total levels equal the Synchro Monster’s level.
Reginald Kastle
- Xyz Monsters
Xyz Monsters are summoned using two or more monsters of the same Level. Instead of Levels, Xyz Monsters have Ranks.
Summoning Method:
Xyz Summon: Overlay two or more monsters of the same Level on the field, placing them underneath the Xyz Monster you summon from your Extra Deck. These overlayed monsters serve as Xyz Materials, which you can detach to activate the Xyz Monster's effects.
- Pendulum Monsters
Pendulum Monsters have a dual nature—they can be summoned as monsters or placed in the Pendulum Zones as Spell cards. These allow you to perform Pendulum Summons, summoning multiple monsters at once.
Summoning Method:
Pendulum Summon: If you have two Pendulum Monsters in your Pendulum Zones, you can Pendulum Summon monsters from your hand or face-up Extra Deck whose Levels fall between the two Pendulum Scales.
- Link Monsters
Link Monsters have no Level or DEF and are summoned using other monsters based on their Link Rating. They also open up Extra Monster Zones and Link Zones for additional summons.
Summoning Method:
Link Summon: Send monsters from your field to the Graveyard whose total number matches the Link Monster's Link Rating. The monsters used must fulfill specific criteria (e.g., requiring Effect Monsters or specific attributes).
Other Types of Monsters
-
Toon Monsters: Special monsters that can attack directly if your opponent doesn’t control a Toon monster. They require Toon World to be on the field to function.
-
Gemini Monsters: Normal monsters with an additional effect that can only be activated by summoning them a second time.
-
Union Monsters: Monsters that can act as Equip Spell cards to other monsters for added protection or effects.
Each monster type brings its own strategy to the game, making deck-building and tactical gameplay dynamic and diverse.
