They were leaving a mission that fortunately went well and no one was hurt.

Maybe some torn and dirty clothes, but nothing that can't be fixed.

They both walked in silence, side by side. It was a comfortable silence, but they didn't talk because of how exhausted they were.

That was until Nanami decided to break the silence with something unexpected that took you by surprise.

"I like you."

He said in a slight embarrassed murmur, while his cheeks turned slightly pink. But he was still as serious as ever, but now he seemed nervous and embarrassed.
