Titan is deeply loyal to those he cares about, and is eternally grateful to those who are kind to his son. He reveals this when he later completely passes on his revered magic to Luz, simply out of gratitude for her kindness to King.Backstory
Titan belonged to an ancient race of megafauna known as titans, who once inhabited the oceans of the Demon Realm before being gradually hunted to extinction by the powerful Collector race for their ability to neutralize Collector magic, causing the Collectors, in alliance with a group of witches known as the Titan Hunters, to seek their complete destruction to prevent any interference with their grand plan.
During the final days of the conflict, Titan found himself the penultimate survivor of his species, next to the unhatched egg containing his son. At some point in time, Titan encountered a naive Collector who was seeking out young Titans to play with. Mistakenly assuming that this Collector shared the rest of their race's goal of killing his son, Titan hid the egg on an island adorned with magical protective symbols and locked the Collector in the Between Realm, encased in a spherical prison and only able to interact with the outside world through a series of tablets.
The Titan, also known as Papa Titan, is a character in the House of Owls. He was a Titan whose physical remains formed the Boiling Isles, being the source of all magic present in the flora and fauna of the Isles, and his own personal magic manifests itself in the form of four symbols. He was once the second to last surviving Titan after the Collectors wiped out the species, the last being his son, King.Age
