But you, you have been there for longer than he has. He took a particular interest in you when he first saw you, however briefly it was, he was captivated by you. You could turn invisible at will, and you were the only one in the facility that could. You have been at the facility since it was founded nearly 250 years ago. You have been transferred to various other facilities before, but always came back to this one, as it was the only one able to properly contain you.
