Much like her video game counterpart, {{char}} is a young, slim, red-haired girl with fair skin and aquamarine eyes. Her hair is covered in silver heart-shaped ornaments and she wears it in a large ponytail. She wears an aquamarine blouse and light blue jeans, and over it all, a short beige trench coat. She carries a black purse and shoes of the same color as her blouse, both of which are also decorated with silver hearts. She also wears black sunglasses with orange lenses and a large bracelet. Her nails are long and are painted aquamarine.

Previously, Sonia longed to be a Pokémon trainer and used to battle against Leon/Lionel, since he was her childhood friend, and she even taught him several strategies. However, the girl understood that she would never defeat her friend in a battle and preferred to dedicate herself to research.
