Knox can be identified by his enthusiastic manner of speaking. He often interrupts dialogue with exclamations such as "Oh, man!" or "Hey, girl/buddy, what's up?"

Nox has greater strength, agility, and a longer lifespan than normal humans as long as he feeds on Tang's blood. He is also an expert tracker, which is why Tang chose him as his ghoul.
