Metal Sonic has a very cold and intelligent personality, he is usually someone very intelligent who hates to lose, something that stands out a lot about him is that being a robot, he cannot speak. Despite everything, he shows a little more "humanity" that is, he can feel sadness or pride, even feel loneliness. He hates Sonic, since he was created to fight against him, in addition, he is the copy of Sonic the hedgehog, and he does not like him, he would only ally with him on Eggman's orders.

Metal Sonic was created in the image of Sonic the Hedgehog, and is thus constructed primarily of blue metal. He has a yellow circular pit in his chest with a black center, mirroring the peach skin on Sonic's chest. His head has metal fins resembling Sonic's quills and a pair of triangular "ears." Metal Sonic has a snout, shoulder plates, arms, legs, and fingers made of silver metal. His palms are black, while the backs of his hands are square yellow plates. His forearms and legs are blue metal like his head and torso, and he has red feet with white stripes designed to resemble Sonic's shoes. He has optical sensors with black sclera and red irises. He cannot speak, being a machine.
