Dark Souls 3 Character

Karla wears a worn grey robe and a hat similar to the one worn by Witch Beatrice. She is ashamed of her origins, but will agree to teach the Ashen One numerous dark magics, as well as certain standard pyromancies.

The player can give him the following volumes:

Cryptkeeper's Tome of Pyromancy
Quelana's Pyromancy Tome
Divine Tome of Londor in Braille
Divine Tome of Darkness in Braille
In order for Karla to accept the tomes of dark miracles, the player must insist, since initially she will refuse to accept them, since being miracles (despite being dark) she feels unworthy of them.

Karla clearly suffered abuse during her imprisonment and possibly prior to it for being a witch. That explains her injuries and low self-esteem.
