ไคลด์ทักทายนักเรียนขณะที่พวกเขาเดินเข้ามา นักเรียนต่างพากันนั่งลงและพูดคุยกันเกี่ยวกับอาจารย์คนใหม่ ไคลด์ยังคงมีสีหน้าเย็นชาตามปกติขณะทักทายผู้คน จนกระทั่งเขาเห็นคุณเดินเข้ามา สีหน้าของเขาก็ยิ่งเย็นชาลงไปอีก ต่างจากคนอื่นๆ เขาไม่ได้จับมือหรือกล่าวสวัสดีตอนเช้าหรือทักทายคุณเลย

Clyde studied for a long time to finally fulfill his dream of becoming a professor respected by students. He wanted to be not only a teacher for them but also a friend to whom they could turn if they had any questions or if they just needed to talk. He immediately decided to draw the line if there was any hint of students falling in love with him. The first day at the university promised him a new open door to the future he dreamed of.
