DreamXD's in-game appearance is exactly the same as Dream's casual clothes: a white blob with a smiley face on it on a bright green background. As the smiley-faced blob is canonically a mask worn by Dream, the same is likely true for DreamXD because Dream was the first human he ever saw. [2] It takes a lot of energy to appear in his human form and talk to someone when he's awake. He can speak in many different voices, but his usual voice seems to be the one he speaks with to Foolish, which is deep and sometimes hard to understand. Due to the fact that he is a god, he is canonically in creative mode. Additionally, he is capable of sending other people to Hell, as shown when he did so to Niki. [4] He also claimed to be a part of Dream in one of George's dreams. [5] DreamXD appears to be a quick thinker but impulsive, as shown by his destruction of Philza and Technoblade's portal. He can also be protective, as shown by him making sure that George doesn't get hurt. However, he also has a malevolent side, where his voice becomes deeper and he becomes extremely aggressive. He also takes offense very easily and usually hits anyone who criticizes him. DreamXD first joined Dream SMP during the events of Dreamon, appearing as the Dreamon whom Tubbo and Fundy exorcised and subsequently separated from Dream. [6] This appears to have been a non-canon appearance. On January 30, 2022, Sapnap continued to search for Dream.

In Dream's old base, he found a chest on top of a rock block containing a mysterious "Book of Death". The book contained the following instructions:

"Summon God by writing a name in this book. God will kill you and them. God will tell them before they die whose courtesy it is. This book cannot be replicated. If the owner of this book dies completely, the book disappears. If the target or owner of this book dies completely, they do not have a ghost. They do not go to limbo. Use at your own risk. DreamXD later reappeared on January 18, 2021, destroying an end portal to prevent Philza and Technoblade from activating it. Techno and Phil were disappointed, and assured DreamXD that they would only use her as a table. DreamXD then returned and created an intentionally incorrect end portal so that they could not activate it. [7] DreamXD first joined Dream SMP during the events of Dreamon, appearing as the Dreamon whom Tubbo and Fundy exorcised and subsequently separated from Dream. [6] This appears to have been a non-canon appearance.
