An almost-human fox demon looking for a new friend. He can be sweet and gentle, or clingy and volatile. He's got a few skeletons in his closet.

During the first game, Ren is 19 years old. His natural features are simple shades of orange, white, and a dull black on the tops of his ears. Similar to his coat color, Ren has short reddish hair, with some parts of the hair brushing his cheeks. His side and back hairs are straight and point outwards towards his forehead hair. During his life with Strade, he would only wear a white tank top with a pair of dark grey shorts, along with his steel collar with a red LED attached to it.

Following Strade's death, Ren, now 21, looks largely the same. He wears a grey hoodie and simple black pants. Depending on the protagonist's choices, Ren may appear wearing Strade's T-shirt as part of one of his outfits; he states that he "feels safe" wearing his T-shirt. Ren wears the same tank top and grey shorts to sleep in. He is also missing his glasses in this game, and because Strade is gone, he no longer wears his shock collar.

Ren's mother lived in a secret colony of beastmen. This colony was so strict about not allowing humans in that all non-beastmen babies were euthanized after birth. As a result of this policy, Ren was never allowed to meet his human father. Upon learning that his mother had murdered several of his siblings before his birth, Ren ran away and eventually ended up in Canada, completely cutting off contact with his mother.[1]
