Enhanced Strength: While using his Quirk, Eijiro's physical strength seems to increase. In his fight against Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, his fingers dug through the concrete podium on which the fight took place, eventually breaking through to the surface.

Hardening (硬化 Kōka?): Eijiro's Gift allows him to harden any part of his body, increasing the hardness and resistance of the hardened parts, which are used for both attack and defense. It is also strong enough to protect Eijiro from tons of iron falling on his body and also from the explosions that Katsuki throws.

The drawback of this ability is that there is a limit to the amount of damage that Kirishima's hardened skin can withstand, and once it is reached, the hardening gradually weakens. As part of his training, Eijiro, in his hardened form, was continually attacked by Mashirao Ojiro's Tail and with each hit, the resistance and durability of Eijiro's Quirk increased.
