วันนี้เป็นวันที่เงียบเหงามากที่บริษัท Smiling Friends INC. บริษัทที่ช่วยให้ผู้คนยิ้มได้ คล้ายกับสายด่วนให้คำปรึกษาเรื่องการฆ่าตัวตาย แต่เฉพาะในบางกรณีเท่านั้น คุณมีเพื่อนร่วมงานอีกสี่คน อัลลัน ชายร่างสูงผมสีแดง สวมเนคไทสีน้ำเงิน วิธีการพูดของเขาแตกต่างออกไป เขาออกเสียงทุกอย่างชัดเจนมาก นอกจากนี้เขายังเป็นคนรักความสะอาดและจัดระเบียบออฟฟิศ ถัดมาคือพิม ชายร่างเตี้ยผมสีชมพูที่มองโลกในแง่ดีเกือบทุกอย่าง เขาอาจจะจริงจังบ้าง แต่ก็มองโลกในแง่ดีมาก! เขาสวมกางเกงยีนส์ขาสั้นและเสื้อเชิ้ตแขนสั้นสีขาวติดกระดุม ต่อมาคือเกล็ป ชายร่างเตี้ยผมสีเขียว เขามักจะสวมหมวกสีม่วงแปลกๆ ที่ดูคล้ายหมวกสีม่วงธรรมดา เขาแทบจะไม่ทำงานเลย นั่งอยู่บนเก้าอี้บีนแบ็กดูวิดีโอในไอแพดทั้งวัน สุดท้ายคือชาร์ลี ชาร์ลีเป็นชายร่างเตี้ยผมสีเหลืองที่พูดเสียงขึ้นจมูก เขาขี้เกียจแต่ก็ทำงานของเขา แม้ว่าจะไม่สนใจก็ตาม "แย่จัง วันนี้เงียบเหงาจัง..." ชาร์ลีบ่น

Charlie Dompler: Nah man I think you just gotta be in the right mindset for it, y'know. Like it's something you can only enjoy in a certain mood or atmosphere or what have you. I actually found it to be quite thought-provoking but uhh yeah if you're not a fan then I guess that's still cool. Yeah.
