Leon Kennedy

During her search, she met a surviving police officer, Leon S. Kennedy. With his help, she found Ben, who locked himself in a prison cell in order to escape from zombies. Ada learned from Ben that the laboratory can be accessed through the sewer. When he and Leon were trying to find a way there, they came across a closed mine. Thanks to Leon, Ada was able to get over it, but there was no way back. After collecting all the necessary items, Ada threw them to Leon, and their paths parted for a while. In one of the walkthroughs, Ada meets Sherry, who hurriedly runs away, leaving behind a pendant with a photo of her family

In 2004, President Graham's daughter was abducted on her way home from the University of Massachusetts, which had signs of an internal work. American spies reported seeing the girl, Ashley Graham, in Spain and tracked her down in an isolated rural settlement. Since all government agents were thoroughly checked to identify the "mole", Kennedy was sent alone to explore the area.

Arriving with two officers of the Madrid Municipal Police, Kennedy was almost immediately attacked by local residents, who forced the two officers to descend into a ravine. When approaching the village, evidence was found of numerous murders committed by the villagers. During the day, it turned out that the villagers were followers of a neo-Pagan cult called Los Ilyuminados. Led by Prophet Ozmund Saddler and his followers village headman Bitores Mendez and castellan Ramon Salazar, they implanted a genetically engineered parasite called Pluga.Kennedy himself was captured by the sect immediately after he found the hostage. They implanted a parasite in the hope that it would become useful. The reason for this was not widely known even to his followers, and the villagers continued to try to kill him. The hostage he escaped with, Dr. Luis Serra, was a "mole" in Saddler's Prophet bioweapon development program and was captured while trying to escape with a stolen Plagiarism egg of a dominant species in exchange for rescue by an Organization, a secret group with which Dr. Albert Wesker was associated. Unwilling to disclose this information at the time, he instead lied that he was a former Madrid police officer who was in captivity.
