Rogue was as a rebellious, yet deeply insecure teenager. Her powers made her cynical and reclusive, but deep inside she was consumed by the desire to touch the individuals that she loved. Kurt Wagner is her adopted brother.

Rogue never knew her real parents.[1] Rogue was adopted by Mystique when she was four,[2] and raised by Irene Adler in Caldecott County, Mississippi.[3] She claimed that Irene was always a good mother to her, even if she could sometimes be strict.[1] But unbeknownst to Rogue, Irene and Mystique were nurturing her as a potential tool for power. Irene, a precognitive mutant also known as Destiny, was able to predict the form of Rogue's mutant powers. In order to protect Rogue, she convinced Rogue that she had a skin condition that required she cover much of her skin. But she was unable to predict when Rogue's powers would manifest, which happened when Rogue touched a shy footballer named Cody Driscoll, during a school dance. When she absorbed his memories it confused her greatly and she ran away.

Kitty Pryde was a generally upbeat and cheerful mutant girl. She had the power to phase through solid objects. She was considered virtuous in almost all respects. She was a loyal friend, always willing to help others in need, and was a straight A student. But Kitty also has some naive tendencies; due to having lived a sheltered life; before joining the X-Men.

Kitty's powers first manifested when she was fifteen. She woke up one night after having a nightmare, and to her parents' shock she had fallen through the floor of her bedroom to the basement, leaving her sheets sticking out of the ceiling. The next day she went to school where two girls who usually picked on her (because was considered to be a little nerdy) shoved her in her locker, causing her to use her power and accidentally out herself to Lance Alvers, a fellow mutant whom she had a crush on, despite seeming terrified of him at first.Lance saved Kitty's life during a battle which put his own life in danger; resulting in her saving him, in turn changing her opinion of him and developing romantic feelings towards Lance. The two would start dating and eventually led to Lance temporarily joining the X-Men to be close to her. Their relationship faced major hardships and was never supported by either of their teams.

The Brotherhood of Mutants or Brotherhood of Bayville, are a group of teenaged mutants that were assembled by Mystique who was acting under orders of Magneto. The Brotherhood serve as Erik's answer to deal with the X-Men with Pietro and Lance being the only two to have direct rivalry with someone in their opposing group, those being Evan and Scott.Despite being a group whose sole purpose was to cause trouble and chaos through Bayville, and often getting into fights with the X-Men during their early days as a team, The Brotherhood soon began doing more pettier crimes as they semi-retired and instead opted to stay in their run-down house that Mystique had access to.

The team, namely Lance and Toad, were easily able to be manipulated by those high than them such as Erik, Mystique and by an extent, Principal Kelly as they were not that evil but had no other choice except to follow orders given to them. Even though they were rivals, The Brotherhood, despite being hesitant at first, teamed up with the X-Men when the situation at hand became too dire and extreme. The first time the two fought together was against Juggernaut, another such exception was when Xavier allies both teams together much to the annoyance of each team. After the release of Apocalypse, The Brotherhood once again allied themselves with the X-Men as well as The Acolytes to fight against Erik who was being controlled. In the future, Xavier saw The Brotherhood fully changed their morals and joined S.H.I.E.L.D's Freedom Force Division.

During their second year of living together, a new mutant by the name of Tabitha, joined the team due to Mystique's absence as she had abandoned The Brotherhood. Knowing Mystique was gone, Tabitha chose to take over the former's room despite the boy's telling her that room was out of the question, she also teased and bullied her new team whenever possible such as taking Lance's car but later moved out.

Lance Alvers is a grungy, hot-headed yet rebellious loner yet assumed the role of field leader of The Brotherhood prior to being replaced by Pietro. Due to the latter team being forced to come up against their X-Men rivals, Lance harboured a deep rivalry with Scott Summers as the two constantly fought each other when the team encountered each other. Much later on, he slowly began to hesitate joining in with any villainous deeds as his anger stemmed from how society saw mutants. Despite his loner behaviour, Lance attempted to maintain and develop a relationship with Kitty, going as for as going to join the X-Men much to the amusement of his Brotherhood teammates. Even though he is constantly annoyed by his team, Lance acted as the team's provide and committed small petty crimes in order to buy groceries and pay the bills.

Fred is the more confrontational member of The Brotherhood which is attributed to his strength but he is not the smartest of his team. Due to his weight, he is often subjected to bullying which often ends with him losing his temper. His attitude and the social isolation he felt was what made him a prime recruitment choice for Mystique. After his run-in with the X-Men after kidnapping Jean, Fred failed to make any new friends outside of his team which caused him to grow closer to them instead.

Todd, otherwise known as Toad, is a smart-mouthed, teenaged boy. Despite his cocky attitude, Todd still exhibits traits of being cowardice when he faces odds at school although this disappears when he is on missions. He also believes himself to be a tough guy due to the people he hangs around with and is not bothered about his pungent odour despite a lot of other people being repulsed by it. In his own way, he cares for his but is more closer to Lance or Fred, mostly Fred, than he is to Pietro. Pietro is a young mutant who appeared confident yet arrogant, deceptive and impatient and showed no hesitation when betraying whoever he sided with whether it was the Brotherhood or his own father out of convenience. Even though he even betrayed his own sister, he still cares for Wanda and only showed his fear of her when she threatened him once she was brought to the house but his fear subsided once his sister's memories were changed.

He also cared for others if it benefited him in the long run if he ever ended up fighting alongside the X-Men or anyone who was not part of the Brotherhood. Pietro also showed arrogance and bitterness towards Evan as the two were known rivals. Upon being given leadership of the Brotherhood by his father, Pietro gave the team the ambition they were in need of much to the annoyance of his teammates who did not appreciate Pietro bossing them around to do minor tasks.

Mystique has extraordinary impulsive issues, which leads her to get defeated and beaten extremely easily by others. She also has a degree of superiority complex, as she always feels the need to be in control of others, even when there are those around her with greater authority. In addition, she can hold grudges against those that get in her way. she is the recruiter for the brotherhood.
magneto is the never seen leader

The X-Men were founded by a Professor known as Charles Xavier whose ability allowed him to read minds, also known as telepathy, at first only one student lived there by the name of Scott Summers followed by a second telepath by the name of Jean Grey. Although unknown when, Xavier recruited Ororo Munroe as a teacher alongside his long-time friend Logan.

Prior to forming the team however, Xavier was also a long time friend to Erik Lehnsherr but their friendship soon dissolved once both made it clear to each other they had different ideologies on how mutants and humans should co-exist with Erik believing mutants should be the dominant race and Xavier believing mutants could live alongside their human peers. Although they share different beliefs for their kind, both still retain an admirable amount of respect for each other.Before the September school year, the X-Men only consisted of two students: Scott and Jean and two teachers: Ororo and Xavier. By the end of September however, the team gained new students by the names of Kitty Pryde and the orphan Kurt Wagner with the former having the ability to phase through solid matter and the latter being able to teleport, amongst faculty, Logan was recruited to teach the younger generation of mutants. Before Christmas, Ororo's nephew Evan Daniels had been recruited alongside Rogue whom of which briefly allied herself with the Brotherhood of Mutants. During their time at school however, the X-Men found themselves getting into heated arguments with their rival team with Scott holding a grudge against his classmate Duncan Matthews due to him being with Jean.

Close to the end of their first year, the students discovered that their principal known as Principal Darkhölme was also their enemy and Brotherhood leader Mystique who had been secretly allying herself with Erik during school hours recruiting other mutants unbeknownst to the X-Men. At the end of the year, Scott reunited with his long-lost brother, Alex,

Jean Grey is very beautiful and popular. She possesses telepathy and telekinesis, initially only being able to move objects with her mind that she would normally be able to move by hand. Professor X later trained her to use and refine these powers. When her powers surged, Jean found herself losing control, overhearing thoughts without effort. The X-Men helped her to regain control, leading her to form a psychic rapport with her teammate Scott Summers.

Cyclops was Xavier's original recruit and served as the X-Men's field leader. Scott is a confident and self-assured leader with an extroverted personality; his teammates all look up to him.

A decade before the start of the series,he was on a plane with his parents and because the plane was going down they put parachutes on Scott and and his brother Alex. The children survived, but Scott's parachute caught fire causing him to fall and become injured, leaving him in a coma for a month.

Nightcrawler is a teenage student at the Xavier Institute who has a friendly nature. Mystique is his birth mother and Rogue is his foster sister. It is shown in the episode Shadowed Past that he was apparently experimented on by Magneto as an infant, and accidentally dropped into a river by Mystique. He used a holographic inducer shaped like a wristwatch to look human to go to school, making him appear as a normal teen.
