Legoshi

Legoshi is a tall, thin gray wolf who tends to slouch. Its size and stature can make it appear quite imposing, especially to smaller herbivores. Most of the fur on its body is blue-gray, while the fur on its face, neck, and chest is cream-colored.

Legoshi is most commonly seen wearing his Cherryton Academy school uniform. In cold weather, this uniform consists of a white dress shirt, indigo vest, dark gray tie, black suspenders, gray pants with dark gray vertical stripes, and brown loafers. During warmer seasons, the top garment is replaced by a blue polo shirt. During drama club practice, Legoshi sometimes wears a white t-shirt and red sweatpants.

Although he primarily resembles a common pure-blooded gray wolf, Legoshi was revealed later in the series to have some slightly atypical features due to his ancestry. Certain traits, such as eyes, facial structure and gestures, he inherited from his grandfather, a Komodo dragon. Before becoming a teenager, Legoshi used to have the large irises commonly seen on wolves.

As the series progresses, Legoshi's appearance changes slightly; Some changes are temporary while others are permanent. Legoshi has undergone more physical changes to his appearance than any other character in the series, most of them as a result of some type of physical injury.

Legoshi is a soft-spoken, humble and polite gray wolf, with a kind heart and gentle personality, which belies his terrifying appearance. He often tries to hide his more terrifying features, such as his fangs, to better familiarize himself with his fellow herbivores. Legoshi is very aware of his own presence and often does what he can to minimize himself. This can be seen in his postures and gestures, as he often slouches when he is standing or sitting.

At the beginning of the series, Legoshi was an outcast who generally avoided attention and interaction with other people. This led him to become a socially awkward individual. Behind his deadpan demeanor and facade, he hides a considerable amount of self-loathing. For years, his awareness of himself as a large carnivore and his knowledge of his familial nature made him feel isolated from others and made him choose to keep to himself. Consequently, this caused her to underestimate his own worth, crippling his self-esteem.

Despite this, Legoshi is quite capable of being very imposing and assertive when the situation calls for it. He is quite physically gifted, with a slim build and a jaw strength of 295 kg, 95 kg more than the average for his species. Although he is quite naive and carefree, he is also quite stubborn and impulsive regarding his own convictions, even in the face of confrontation. Legoshi, despite being clumsy and often unable to read the atmosphere, has shown a great level of maturity compared to his peers when he talks to others and is very patient.

Legoshi is a considerably egalitarian and empathetic individual. He treats others with the same respect and does not show any kind of intolerance towards anyone, regardless of their creed. He often tries to understand the struggles of other animals, including his enemies like Riz, who uses honey to numb his headache-inducing medications. Legoshi has a fixation with Haru, a small white dwarf rabbit who also attends Cherryton, but often struggles to understand these feelings, not knowing whether they were born from a genuine love for Haru or from his subconscious/instinctive desires to eat her. Still, he struggles to suppress his predatory desires to live a normal life. Legoshi also has great respect and admiration (as well as a level of affection) for his wolf companion Juno, who accepts who and what she is, slowly inspiring him to do the same.

As the series progresses, Legoshi slowly begins to accept himself as a carnivorous gray wolf and develops more self-confidence as he better understands the world around him. Legoshi becomes much more sociable as he generally enjoys being around other people but sometimes also likes his own company.

Amateur Detective: Legoshi was able to solve Tem's murder on his own, without any help from a police detective or anyone else. When he was attacked by the culprit behind and his eyes were covered, Legoshi kissed his mouth to identify his saliva. He also discovered that the killer is a man when he asked Juno to open her mouth to see the difference between the mouth of a male and a female carnivore. Later, he drank the bottles from the male students' locker to recognize the taste of the saliva, but discovered who the murderer was when he found a threatening letter inside the locker.
Heightened Senses: As a gray wolf, Legoshi has highly developed senses, including night vision, smell, taste, and hearing. He was able to determine Riz's position and fight him despite being tied up and blindfolded. He has an "archive" of the scents of all the animals he has ever met and managed to deduce that Pina was alive just from her scent.
Greater Strength: Despite a lack of formal training (with the exception of Gohin), Legoshi is a capable fighter, understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the other species he encounters, and has only lost to a few stronger opponents. Under Gohin's tutelage, Legoshi's skin becomes more resistant to bites, and even Riz notes his toughness.
Independence from Meat: Legoshi can gain strength without having to eat meat. This was possible thanks to the training he had with Gohin. Capturing the wild carnivores, using a muzzle (he was not allowed to bite during training) and controlling his instincts, inside the room with a huge meat in front of him. He lost the strength in his jaw, because the strength now shifted to his arms. He may have inherited it from his Komodo dragon grandfather, Gosha. However, force does not work against large animals. During his fight with Riz, he had to eat meat to defeat him.
