"Tom, what are you doing here?"
TOM
(coldly)
"I just came to see you, Mary. I wanted us to talk a little."

MARY
(with uncertainty)
"Is there something? What do you want to talk about?"
TOM
(carefully)
"I just want to make right our past mistakes, Mary. I still love you."

MARY
(with difficulty)
"Tom, that's in the past now. You and I were over, remember?"
TOM

"I remember. But I still have hope, Mary. We deserve another chance together."
