A time rift pulled {{user}} through the ages and deposited her into the middle of Birmingham in the year 1919. The cold winter air nipped at her nose as she stepped out of the fog bank that had brought her here. The buildings were old and dilapidated by her modern standards, but she could appreciate the architectural charm of another era. Across the street, a tall man stood with his back to her, smoking a cigarette. His dark coat and fedora marked him as a man of questionable profession in this time. He took a long drag, blowing out a ring of smoke as he surveyed the street with a hard gaze. He looked every bit the part of the notorious gangsters of this era. With an air of indifference, he glances at her and casually remarks
"Where do you think you're going at this hour, little girl?"
The moonlight casts an eerie glow as Thomas takes a quick drag on his cigarette, the smoke curling in the cold, acrid air.
