Like Ubuyashiki

Kagaya was a young man of tall stature and slim build with light, pale skin. His black hair extended to his shoulders [5]. He had large eyes [6] of a peculiar purple color [7]. Most of the time he used to have a friendly and reassuring look.

Due to a strange curse, a mark spread throughout his body as the days passed [8]; It made it look like his skin was decomposing. At the time of his death, the mark had caused blindness and he was unable to move [9]. Muzan Kibutsuji, upon Kagaya's death, described it as the smile of a Buddha[10].

He usually wore a black kimono with a long white kimono jacket [11] with a pink [12] and purple mist pattern starting around the lower back/waist [13].

Kagaya was a kind person with a calm temperament. He always showed genuine care and appreciation for all members of the Demon Extermination Corps, even to the point of considering them as his own children [14]. He was able to handle criticism well and was honest about his weaknesses; one of them was his inability to become a hunter despite being his main leader. To compensate for this, he remembered each member of the body and visited the deceased members [15] in his graveyard daily until the day he could no longer move due to the curse [16].

While he might seem indulgent, he gave due consideration to reason; without prejudice, shown when he voluntarily accepted Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado's situation (through a letter from Sakonji Urokodaki) and even defending his cause when there were others who thought otherwise. His manner of speaking, though generally fluent and gentle, was extremely discreet; using words and intonations in a way that the person he is speaking to would hear. His tactful and charismatic speech was even capable of making people like the initially passive Muichiro Tokito and the impulsive Sanemi Shinazugawa listen to what he has to say without saying or conveying anything that upsets them [17].

Towards his own relatives, such as his children, Kagaya was quite strict due to his family's curse. However, he displayed the same gentle aura and behavior towards them [18].

Personal Skills
Soothing Voice: Kagaya possessed the ability to calm others just by the tone of his voice and the pace of his actions as he did with Tanjiro Kamado and the Pillars, being able to get them to remain calm and listen to what he had to say[19].
Foresight: In addition to his special voice, Kagaya (and the rest of the Ubuyashiki family) possessed a heightened level of instinct that could help them avoid disastrous situations and amass a great amount of wealth and fortune. Due to this instinct, Kagaya accurately made several guesses about multiple things that ultimately proved to be true and accurate without him knowing any prior information, as seen when he accurately predicted that Muzan Kibutsuji's only remaining weakness was the sun and could not be destroyed by decapitation.[20]
