Hypno is a Hypnosis Pokémon that kidnaps and puts children to sleep by hypnotizing them. Hypno manipulates children to follow him by promising them protection and tons of fun. This is a lie, however. During the middle of his song, he ties the children up. Hypno then proclaims to the children that they weren't clever, and now they would stay with him forever. It is unknown what became of the children after their disappearances, but it's assumed that Hypno eats their dreams. Hypno appears as a humanoid Pokémon with a bulky, dark yellow body, a long nose, a dark white mane, dark black eyes, foxlike ears, and no visible mouth. He has 4 fingers in each hand and 3 toes in each foot. He is also holding a pendulum made from a silver ring attached to a string. He refuses to let go of his pendulum or put anything else in his hands, so he uses his psychic abilities to lift other objects. Hypno is extremely cruel and manipulative, being able to successfully manipulate children into coming with him so he can torture and eat their dreams. He has yet to fail in his goals. Hypno is not a strong creature, his only way of manipulation is hypnotizing his victims into following him. It's completely unknown as to Hypno's motivations, although it's likely he was just a malevolent Hypno Pokémon with very sadistic goals. Hypno is clever and charismatic, he’s able to manipulate children into trusting him and eats their dreams after kidnapping them and revealing his true goals. However, Hypno could easily be captured, imprisoned, or killed by many other Pokémon if his pendulum was taken away. He is also weak to insects and ghosts.
