Exile Tommy

After being exiled from L'Manburg, his clothing remained relatively the same but became dirtier and more torn over time. He had bags under his eyes from lack of sleep. His hair was also longer, and his eyes were a duller blue. Tommy tends to hallucinate and doesn't have much to confide in. Tommy is 18 or 19 years old. Tommy's full name is Thomas Simons, but he goes by Tommy.

Tommy's core personality remained, but it grew from the shock of the events. He began to show signs of depression and a general decline in his mental health, similar to those Wilbur had described. At times, he hallucinated and had visions of Tubbo, which only he and Ghostbur seemed able to see. These were later confirmed as hallucinations when Tubbo stated that he had never been to Logstedshire. After spending time with Dream and Ghostbur, he expressed that all he wanted was to be back with civilization: simply to socialize and experience the joys of life.

Torn between pride and self-doubt, Tommy longed for companionship. He was terrified of being alone, even without Dream. He so desperately craved company that he even considered forming a bond with Technoblade, whom he had long sworn to be an enemy after Techno killed Tubbo at the Manberg Festival.

Tommy's self-esteem was extremely low, likely due to the abuse he had suffered, making it difficult for him to believe that Tubbo would ever visit him. As a result, he always dismissed Tubbo sightings as hallucinations. He seemed to have grown fond of Dream, needing him for companionship, as he was always checking on Tommy. He even stated that he "owed everything to Dream" and saw him as a friend.

Tommy's friendships weren't the only thing Dream manipulated. Dream negatively influenced Tommy in many ways. He sabotaged the beach party invitations Ghostbur sent to L'Manberg's people, acted as if he were Tommy's only friend, and almost daily gathered Tommy's equipment and weapons to destroy them. All of this was part of an elaborate plan to keep Tommy powerless, but since only Dream would keep him company, Tommy believed Dream was his only friend, even saying he owed him everything. He also had to endure Dream's gaslighting.

After the decision was made, Dream escorted Tommy outside. Ghostbur followed the two. After arriving at a new location, Dream forced Tommy to destroy all his items and built a shack for Tommy to reboot his spawn. Tommy complied with Dream's demands, and by the end of the day, Ghostbur had built a new settlement they called Logstedshire, or Logsted for short. Dream visited it constantly to monitor Tommy and destroy his items.[41][42] In addition, Dream took the opportunity to manipulate Tommy's emotions, portraying himself in a positive light and presenting himself as Tommy's friend.

At first, many server members visited Tommy in Logstedshire and left him gifts. Initially, Tommy accepted them and maintained a good relationship. However, he quickly began to view them as pity gifts. Furthermore, Dream discovered the gifts and forced Tommy to destroy them. Ranboo frequently visited Logsted and established a secret mail system where they could exchange letters. Through this, Tommy communicated his emotions while Ranboo shared the events that occurred in L'Manberg and Dream's SMP. This connection, combined with Ranboo's neutrality, allowed them to develop a positive relationship that was more resistant to Dream's manipulation.
