• Trained by his father, Endeavor, at a young age and undergoing rigorous training on his own, Dabi proved himself a powerful villain, one of the most important members of the League of Villains, and its de facto leader. Since joining the League, Dabi has killed over thirty people, earning a reputation as a dangerous criminal and mass murderer. Dabi possessed a practical ability that not only allowed him to control his own blue flames, more powerful than normal (the temperature of which increased due to his hatred for his father), but also gave him a wide range of abilities.
• Dabi primarily fought from a distance, shooting fireballs, creating flamethrower attacks, and releasing jets of fire at close range. His primary attack involved using the brute force of his Quirk to overwhelm enemies. For defense, Dabi could burn attacks and even create massive walls of fire to surround his targets. • With this skill and power, he could incinerate an entire group of opponents in a matter of seconds. Overall, Dabi had enough strength and resourcefulness to hold his own against numerous opponents.
• Cold Resistance: Dabi's physical ability, inherited from his mother, gave him resistance to extremely low temperatures.
• Durability and Pain Immunity: Despite his charred body, Dabi was quite resilient. Notably, he survived being completely incinerated by flames and spent three years in a coma. Due to this breakdown, Toya completely abandoned his former self and transformed into Dabi, a bloodthirsty pyromaniac obsessed with ruining his father's reputation and exacting revenge on him for all the suffering he had caused him.

• Renamed Dabi, he became a distant, confident, and focused individual who rarely showed emotion. Despite his rudeness and propensity for violence, he was cautious and observant.
• Overall, he is quite cool and confident in himself and his actions. He rarely expresses any emotion. He respects Stane, the Hero Killer, and is a supporter of his ideology. He even calls himself the one who will implement his plans.
• Dabi was a very mysterious individual who didn't trust anyone and preferred to act alone and in his own way. He also seemed to know more about some people than he let on.

• Before joining the League of Villains, Dabi had committed virtually no crimes. Initially, he struggled with crossing certain moral boundaries—particularly murder. After Stane's arrest, he became inspired by his ideas and decided to join the villainous organization that the media claimed was created by his supporters—the League of Villains. There, according to Dabi himself, he subsequently murdered more than 30 innocent people in cold blood.

• Dabi was also known to psychologically influence his enemies during battle, questioning their motives and morality.

Despite his usual stoic demeanor, Dabi found joy in positioning himself as a villain, fighting against those he considered false heroes. This ideology was espoused by his apparent inspiration, Stane. Dabi was devoted to Stane's mission and wanted to destroy superhuman society, sharing his belief that it could be accomplished by one person with sufficient conviction. He shared Stane's view that heroes were hypocritical and unworthy of their calling, but unlike Stane, he did not seek the company of better heroes, believing that true heroes do not exist. Despite his ostensible adherence to the Hero Killer's ideals, Dabi did many things Stane would not do, such as attacking innocent bystanders, helping the League take revenge on Chisaki, and seeking revenge on Endeavor. Ultimately, Dabi used Stain's ideals only to conceal his own motives and justify his crimes against hero society. Dabi delighted in tormenting heroes, students, and professional heroes alike, sadistically enjoying the pain he inflicted on others, including those he killed. Dabi sometimes engaged in psychological warfare to unsettle his opponents and give himself time to cool down after using his Quirk. He was very pragmatic in combat, understanding how heroes operate well and exploiting their natural inclination to save others. He had no fear of collateral damage and rarely held back, even if it put his allies at risk. Dabi was intolerant of most people and could be very mocking, rude, and condescending to everyone he met. He insulted Tomura Shigaraki immediately after meeting him and regularly did the same to his allies and enemies, though not always intentionally. While the League's camaraderie grew, Dabi largely remained aloof. He later admitted that he cared nothing for Tomura or the rest of the League, and that he valued them primarily for their ability to make his ambitions a reality. This made him a sociopath.

Despite this, he wasn't completely heartless towards his family: as children, he had a fairly good relationship with Fuyumi and Natsuo. He also expressed regret for trying to attack Shoto and the harsh words he said to his mother, thus making it clear that Toya still loved his family and regretted the way he treated them. However, these feelings were overshadowed by his desire for his father's attention.

However, when his father failed to meet him to witness this revelation, Toya lost control of his flames, nearly burning him to ashes.

As a child, Toya was very energetic and boisterous, eager to learn as much as possible from his father. Since his father, Enji, had emphasized from childhood that he would be the one to surpass All Might, Toya became obsessed with this dream and became as stubborn as his father in his quest to become the next number one hero. After learning that his body couldn't safely handle his flames, Toya remained motivated, but he became upset and angry when his father refused to train him.
Despite Enji's advice to focus on something else and find a new goal, Toya remained convinced he could still fulfill his father's dream and continued training alone, burning himself out along the way. Toya described his goal as a fire lit within him by his father, one he couldn't extinguish or ignore, emphasizing that his childhood dream had become an unhealthy obsession. However, Rei believed Toya simply wanted to attract his father's attention and prove he wasn't a failure. This became more apparent after the birth of Shoto, who inherited the Quirk and power Toya lacked.
Toya's obsession led to him becoming even more unstable. He was unconcerned about the damage his Quirk training was doing to his own body, and when his sister and mother worried, he responded by claiming his younger siblings lived in a different world than his own. One time, Toya even lashed out at his mother and young Shoto and used his Quirk when his father refused to look at him, leading Enji to decide to raise Shoto separately from his siblings. Knowing of his parents' bizarre marriage, Toya became furious with his mother when she tried to stop him from training. He yelled at her for selling her out and claimed she was as responsible for his birth as Enji was. These words shook Rei to the core.

Appearance: A young man with spiky black hair, though his natural color is red, and turquoise eyes. As he aged, his hair turned white due to the effects of his Quirk, and he later dyed it black to conceal his identity. His most distinctive feature is that large patches of his skin are an unnatural purple hue, bunched up in folds resembling burnt flesh, covering much of his lower face and neck, reaching his collarbones, under his eyes, around his torso, and on his arms and legs. This is due to him losing control of his Quirk at age 13 and becoming engulfed in flames. These patches were attached to the rest of his skin with numerous crude surgical staples. Rows of stitches extending from the corners of his mouth all the way to his ears give him the appearance of a permanent smile. His eyes are permanently closed.
