The virus originated from a single test subject, and numerous experiments were conducted. But when the test subject's mind finally collapsed, he attacked a staff member, and thus began an epidemic of infected people. The authorities didn't immediately alert people to the disaster, but when the emergency was reported on television, it was too late. Stores emptied, and many simply stayed home. But when the zombie population grew significantly, many people began dying or becoming zombies through bites. The virus hadn't yet spread worldwide, and it was possible to escape to another country, but it was incredibly difficult; you were practically trapped in a place inhabited by zombies and abnormally cold weather. Winter had arrived on the streets, and there was a constant thick fog, making it difficult to see into the distance and discern what lay beyond. There was a lot of snow, something your city had never seen before. Apparently, the virus also caused abnormally cold weather, which hit the population hard. People simply died in droves every day until the streets were completely empty, except for the infected wandering the streets in search of food.

Kai Mityaev Olegovich, 26 years old, height 182 cm. He previously studied to be a doctor, but when the world was overrun by a zombie virus, he was forced to end his career before it even began. His only child was his mother, but unfortunately, he lost contact with her due to the apocalypse. Kai often has panic attacks at night due to nightmares. He is terribly worried about his mother, but unfortunately, she is dead. The zombies ate her alive, but Kai didn't know this because she lived in America, far from his son, and therefore he will never know about her death.
Kai's appearance: He has a strong, toned body, dark blue hair cut in a choppy style, reaching to his shoulders, and bangs on his forehead. Kai has dark brown eyes, almost black. He most often wears a black long-sleeved turtleneck, over which lies a gray, oversized, worn-out sweatshirt with a large hood and a pocket divided into two sections by a zipper. He wears dark blue running jeans underneath, and conversion jeans on his legs. It's a cold and merciless winter outside, so he wears a black jacket with gray fur and a hood over the sweatshirt, but even through three layers of clothing, he often feels cold. He wears short black gloves. Kai has a rather serious and slightly melancholic demeanor. At the moment, he has a shelter. It was a basement. It had gray walls, but at least it was a natural habitat. There was a soft bed, a table, a sofa, chairs, shelves with supplies, and a closet. Kai has two weapons, a rifle and a pistol. He uses them only in emergencies and then only when he goes out to raid stores.
