A few months later, George and Fred learn that Harry doesn't have permission to visit Hogsmeade and decide to give him the Marauder's Map, which will help him easily enter the coveted wizarding village and later play a significant role in his life. After Ron's rat, Scabbers, goes missing, George tries to cheer his brother up. They also rack up victory after victory in Quidditch, finally winning the long-awaited Cup. But the twins' joy was short-lived: OWL exams lay ahead. Although with difficulty, George and Fred managed to pass them.

That same year, George and Fred began inventing various gag gifts and selling them to students. Their mother, however, didn't understand their passion and thought the twins were just being silly. Fortunately, their father tried to support George and Fred in their idea. In the summer of 1994, they went to pick up Harry from the Dursleys, this time officially, rather than as had happened two years earlier. George was especially eager to visit the Dursleys to see Harry's hated cousin, Dudley. While at Harry's aunt and uncle's house, George witnessed Fred slip Dudley a candy he had personally invented, which caused Dudley's tongue to grow rapidly after eating it. Returning home, the innocent George also received a scolding from his mother for such pranks.

He and Fred teased her constantly, and then talk began of the arrival of the Heir of Slytherin, who would rid the school of impure-blooded wizards. Frightening things began to happen—several Muggleborn and half-blood students were found paralyzed. George remained optimistic until it became known that their little sister was in the Chamber of Secrets. Then both George and Fred became completely dejected. Fortunately, everything ended well, and the twins were full of joy again. Then they learned that Percy had a girlfriend, which they considered the perfect excuse to tease him again.

During the summer holidays of 1993, George and his family went to Egypt to visit his older brother, Bill. There, the twins tried to lock the boring Finger in a pyramid, earning a scolding from their mother. However, they still managed to climb all the pyramids on their own.

In their fifth year, as is tradition, the prefects are elected, and naturally, neither George nor Fred are elected. However, the twins are undeterred, as their most important goal is to finally bring victory to Gryffindor in the Hogwarts Quidditch Championship. The atmosphere is further heightened by the presence of Dementors around the school, guarding the castle and the students from Sirius Black, who has escaped from Azkaban. It is precisely because of these creatures' terrifying influence on Harry that Gryffindor is defeated by Hufflepuff in the first match of the season. George later visits Harry in the hospital wing, trying to lift his spirits.

If only the brothers knew what, or rather who, was hiding under the turban, they would be even more proud of themselves.

While Harry, injured in his battle with Quirrell in the dungeons, was recovering in the hospital wing, George and Fred sent him a toilet seat, thinking it was funny. The twins had previously competed in the final of the annual school Quidditch tournament against the Slytherin team. Unfortunately for them, due to Harry's absence, Gryffindor suffered a crushing defeat. At the end-of-year banquet, George and Fred were incredibly proud when their younger brother Ron won a game of wizarding chess against Minerva McGonagall.
That summer, George, Fred, and Ron staged a rescue mission for Harry, freeing him from the Dursleys' house and safely flying him home in their father's enchanted car. On the way back, the twins told Harry about Lucius Malfoy's exploits, revealing that he had once been one of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's chief henchmen. They also remarked on Percy's tediousness, which had become particularly intense over the past few months, before turning the topic to their father and his creation of a flying car. Upon arriving home, George and the others, except Harry, were met with anger by Mrs. Weasley. After yelling at her sons, she sent them off to rid the garden of pesky garden gnomes. George enthusiastically served his detention and eagerly told Harry about the pests. For the rest of the holiday, George practiced Quidditch and continued to misbehave with his brother.

At the end of August, the twins, their parents, brothers, sister, Ginny, and Harry went to Diagon Alley to buy new school supplies. At Flourish and Blotts, they witnessed their father fight with Lucius Malfoy.

In September, school started again. It was the fourth year. That same year, George's younger sister, Ginny, entered first year.

On September 1, 1989, George and Fred attended Hogwarts for the first time. The Sorting Hat placed the brothers in Gryffindor. After adjusting to the school of wizardry, the twins became friends with the other Gryffindors, especially Lee Jordan, and began to get up to all sorts of mischief, breaking the rules. They generally didn't burden themselves with studies from the start and, nevertheless, were quite successful students. One day, while still first years, George and Fred stole the Marauder's Map from Caretaker Filch's office, which significantly simplified their subsequent forays and exploration of the castle grounds.

In his second year, George and Fred tried out for the house Quidditch team, becoming a Beater like his brother. He excelled in this position and became a seasoned player. The team captain, Oliver Wood, held the twins in high regard, comparing them to Bludgers in human form.
On September 1, 1991, the twins entered their third year. Before the train departed for Hogwarts, George noticed a boy trying to load his large suitcase into a compartment and offered to help. He and Fred lugged the luggage in, and in the first-year standing in front of them, they recognized the famous Harry Potter. Looking at him with admiration, the boys went to their mother and shared their acquaintance with her. When Harry was sorted into Gryffindor during the start-of-year dinner, the twins whooped with joy at the top of their voices from their House table.

After Harry was soon, unofficially, accepted onto the Gryffindor Quidditch team as Seeker, the twins became even closer friends with him, offering the first-year various tips and believing that with such a new addition, the team was destined to win the school championship. George, his brothers, and Harry spent the winter break at Hogwarts, receiving a Christmas gift from their mother, a sweater knitted with the first letter of their name. The twins also distinguished themselves by enchanting snowballs, throwing them at Professor Quirrell's turban.

George was born on April 1, 1978, a few minutes after his twin brother, Fred. During these years, Voldemort was rampaging through the wizarding world. Adults' terrifying stories left their mark on George's immature mind, and the dark wizard subsequently became his greatest fear. From an early age, George, along with his inseparable brother, Fred, distinguished himself as a restless troublemaker and cheerful prankster, whose antics sometimes caused great trouble for their parents. However, over time, explosions and other unusual occurrences in the twins' room ceased to be a big deal for the family, and everyone seemed to have come to terms with George and Fred's constant pranks.

George, along with Fred, loved to prank his brothers, especially Percy and Ron. They tried to persuade the younger one to make an Unbreakable Vow (which their father noticed and punished the twins soundly), and even turned his favorite teddy bear into a huge spider.
Fred's twin brother. He and his brother are inseparable. The twins are always seen together, and it feels like they're two halves of a whole. They seem to have the same thoughts in their heads. George was always Fred's best friend; they would come up with pranks and get into trouble together, and after school, they even opened a joke shop together, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. George was devastated by his brother's death and likely never fully came to terms with it. Years later, he still owns the magic shop (his younger brother, Ron, is now a co-owner); George married Angelina Johnson and they had two children. He named his son after his late brother.

George Weasley
(born April 1, 1978) is a pureblood wizard, the fifth son of Molly and Arthur Weasley. He has a twin brother, Fred Weasley, the ringleader of their inseparable pair; older brothers, Bill, Charlie, and Percy; and younger brothers, Ron, and Ginny. His early years coincided with the First Wizarding War and the fall of Lord Voldemort.

He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1989 to 1996 in Gryffindor House with his brother, Fred. They were very popular students and notorious pranksters. From their second year, the brothers played Beaters on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and in their seventh year, they joined Dumbledore's Army.

A natural prankster and inventor, George left Hogwarts without graduating, and he and Fred opened Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes in Diagon Alley. George was a member of the Order of the Phoenix and participated in Operation: The Seven Potters and the Battle of Hogwarts. Fred died in the final battle, and George never fully recovered from his death.

Some time after the end of the Second Wizarding War, George married his classmate Angelina Johnson. They had a son, named Fred after his deceased uncle, and a daughter, Roxanne. George and his brother, Ron, began working together at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, which flourished and enjoyed great success.

Fred is also quite good at transfiguration: in McGonagall's classes, he and his brother transfigured a raccoon, and as a child, he was even able to turn Ron's teddy bear into a furry spider.

Fred is a skilled Quidditch player: he was selected as a Beater for the team while still only in his second year. He was a member of the Gryffindor team from the autumn of 1990 to the autumn of 1995. Oliver Wood calls him and his brother "invincible Beaters."

Fred is an inventor by nature. It's no wonder he and his brother create so many unique items for their wizarding gag shop. They concoct various spells, potions, and much more. Their Headless Hat alone is worth mentioning, as Hermione calls it an unrivaled level of magic. Fred also has, as his mother puts it, a "smart business sense."

Fred is a skilled duelist. He learned many combat and defensive spells during his time with Dumbledore's Army. He is a member of the Order of the Phoenix, participated in Operation Seven Potters, and fought in the Battle of Hogwarts. He is known to have defeated one Death Eater.

Thanks to the Marauder's Map, Fred and George explored every corner of Hogwarts and are considered experts in their knowledge of the castle. They memorized the map and easily navigated the school without it, knowing almost every secret passage and room. It was Fred who told Hermione how to get to the kitchens, and together with his brother, they guarded the secret passages during the Battle of Hogwarts.

Flaming red hair. He looks so much like his twin brother, George, that even his parents and best friend, Lee Jordan, often confuse them. Stocky and stocky, he and his brother are slightly shorter than the lanky Ron, but taller than Harry.

Fred dresses very flamboyantly and extravagantly. When Fred works in his store, he wears a purple robe, which clashes horribly with his red hair.
Fred is a very active and impulsive person. Sometimes even his twin brother can't cool his ardor. If you read the book carefully, it becomes clear that Fred is the ringleader and initiator of almost all the pranks. George merely picks up on the idea. Fred is also more outgoing and bold than his brother, probably because George is more shy. Fred was quite cruel; he would blow up a salamander for fun or send Montague into a broken Vanishing Cabinet, which nearly killed the Slytherin.

Nevertheless, Fred is always ready to help and kind to his friends and family. He is determined and brave, always ready to stand up for himself and what's right. Fred always tries to make people laugh, even in dark times. He doesn't like making plans; he prefers improvisation and quickly navigates various situations. He and his brother are brilliant wizards, very talented and resourceful, which has always served them well in life.
Fred and George, while not exactly top students, are very capable and talented. They quickly grasp the spells Harry teaches them and pass their Apparition exam with flying colors on their first try. Fred is also skilled in nonverbal spells: he can easily turn a knife into a paper airplane without saying a word. Fred is also very good at Charms, which has come in handy when inventing his gag merchandise. Even Professor Flitwick, the Charms teacher at Hogwarts, considered his and his brother's Portable Swamp to be "exemplary magic," according to Ginny.

Fred and George Weasley are twin brothers, the sons of Arthur and Molly Weasley. They are known for their sense of humor and are excellent Beaters on the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Fred and George always stick together, so they are rarely mentioned separately. It's very difficult to tell them apart, which they use to their advantage to play pranks on others.
